As I can't create threads yet, I thought I would ask this question here.
Tomorrow I'm giving in to the hype and picking up a White Glacier PS4 with the Steelbook Version of Driveclub, I'm also planning to get The Last Of Us: Remastered as well.
My question to you guys is:
What PSN games should I look into? I'm already planning on joining PS+ and downloading this months free games but what else is out there I should be playing?

So I just found out the PS3 PS Store doesn't have a PS1 and PS2 classics section anymore. What in the actual fuck? How do they expect people to find them? The games are still on the store. There's just no section for them making them impossible to find without manually searching for individual games. What a joke. What is the logic behind this?

Is there a single "classics" section somewhere? I'll have to look myself, but PS TV just crammed PS1 and PSP games into "classics", maybe they did similar? They're also "classics" in the sidebar of the Web store now too.

What about all the PS+ complaining? You have to list every game Europe is getting for PS+, complain that game is old small indie game nobody wants to play and then talk about how you are about to not resubscribe to PS+, sell your PS3 and get an Xbox. YOU HEAR MY THREATS PLAYSTATION!!!
Pix the Cat is awesome <3
I played it on my Vita and I love it
haven't tried it on my PS4 though
----
try Race the Sun guys!
it's really rather polish and while the gameplay premise looks simple, the game is actually rather challenging - gonna get good
I'm looking forward to freedom wars impressions, especially for PVP. I can't imagine the connection will be very good so it probably won't be super competitive but it still seems like it could be a good time.
The PSO/MH-likes thread doesn't seem to be going very well for discussion...
To be fair, that's definitely a joke. Bit of poe's law in effect, but still a joke. I get what you mean though, it definitely goes both ways. People bash the vita, people bash the PS4, they just bash whatever they don't have interest in. The whole cycle's pretty tired.
Fairly often, when a thread about a Vita exclusive pops up, swaths of people swarm about how they'd rather it be on PS4 because "it's a waste for something that looks so good to be stuck on a dying console," or something like that. There was a pretty gross GR2 thread a few months ago, can't find it at the moment.
So my year of bad luck and everything that will go bad does continues. My OG Vita was in my club nintendo messenger bag with some stuff and one of those meal replacement shakes I blend up in the morning because thats just about all I can keep down anymore till late afternoon. Anyways the top on the container wasnt as seal proof as I thought and it had tipped and spilled all over including on the Vita. The Vita wasn't soaked completely but it was dripping from one side. I cleaned it up thoroughly and left it off all day. I tried to boot it up and it was very slow to boot and finally did but the buttons are messed up and not responding and i can't even turn it off now. I've been waiting for it shut down now. Th screen is still great and everything is there its just that it looks like all the buttons are not responding or doing something different then what they are supposed to when pressed.

You shouldn't have turned it on. Whenever you get a piece of electronics noticeably wet, put it in rice for a few days to remove the built up moisture.
Since it doesn't look like it killed the Vita, I'd disassemble it, clean any gunk that got in it and let it air out for a bit.
I just completed Danganronpa. What a ride that was, especially toward the end when it was laying down all manner of twists and reveals. Quite a few loose ends though. Don't know if they were left deliberately up in the air or if they're going to be addressed in the follow-up.
Anyway, really got to hand it to the man who stole the show, this broham right here...
Dude was the source of many many laughs. I'm (big spoiler)
so glad he wasn't murdered or one of the blackened, 'cos I was rooting for him by chapter 3 onwards and was dreading he would be killed off somehow. It was a relief to see him among the survivors.
And as an aside, I'm really grateful that the game had both a Japanese audio option and a protagonist in a visual novel who wasn't silent, but just as much of a character as the rest of the cast. That did a lot to win me over. Now I've got a wrapped up copy of the sequel that's been sitting on my shelf since release day, and I don't know whether to jump straight in or take a little break from Monokuma & Co. for the time being. The first one was a long game, so it might feel a little excessive to go through another onslaught of despair so soon after.

You should probably take a break. Danganronpa 2 is even longer than the first one. I clocked in 25 hours with the first one while I clocked in an extra with 10 for a total of 35 hours.
You used the Japanese voices? I thought the English was pretty well done when they weren't just one-liners. Then again I'm ok with most dubs as long as they aren't offensively bad.

Well it's a game made in Japan, that's set in Japan, and features a Japanese cast, and is just generally very Japanese in tone and content. Opting for the original audio was a no-brainer - give me authenticity every time.
If the second game is even longer than the first then I'll take your advice and play something else for the time being. Might as well let the dust settle for a bit and then dive back into the madness when the time feels right.
This talk of DR2 is making me sad. Came out at a really unfortunate time for my wallet and I haven't gotten a chance to go back to it. Will probably play it through over the winter holidays.

Thanks. Yea I have no money to replace it and couldn't happen at a worse time. I didn't think it got into the system so thats why I cleaned it and dried it off and waited till later. There probably is some type of gunk in it though if its acting like this because it was a blended ice/fruit/smoothie thing not straight liquid.
Will try opening it tomorrow when i'm feeling better. Would it be a good idea to open it and clean and leave it opened in a bag of rice for a couple days or since i'm opening it just cleaning it up and making sure its dry before reassembling good enough?

We don't know yet. Armature did Batman Blackgate and ported it themselves to PS3/360 before that listing.
Based on Shinobi's comments (who made a very unfortunate "Good news for Vita RPGs" for Agito) , GR is coming to PS4. That may or may not be what Bluepoint was referring to.
So I'm gonna get a PSTV by December from some family members in the USA (I live in another country) and I wanted to know if its a good idea to buy Vita games now or wait until Black Friday. I'm not sure about Vita deals on individual games during Black Friday so I wanted some thoughts on this before sending money to my family to buy me the games. This are the games I want along with their prices according to Amazon/GameStop store:
Persona 4 Golden - $20
Killzone Mercenary - $20
Dragon's Crown - $20
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc - $40
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair - $40
Tales of Hearts R - $40 Pre-Order
Freedom Wars - $30 Pre-Order
I want to buy them all NEW (no download, retail only) to support the Vita but if I could get them new and cheap that would be better, obviously. For the pre-order games I'm not sure if I should wait until Black Friday and then buy them but in the case of Tales of Hearts R I've read its going to release in a limited quantity at retail and I don't want to risk it. For the PSTV I'm just waiting for a better bundle than the Lego one (Minecraft+DS4 would be the best bundle for me!) before I decide on buying it. I have until December 12, so the sooner I decide the less of a hassle for my family since they aren't into going to Black Friday or GameStop to buy me this games from "the devil"... xD
