The video also removed the outline effect found in the games. I saw quite a few people today wondering what Pokemon would look like in HD on the Switch, well maybe it would be something like this. I can't wait to see what they can do with a more powerful console.

Also I'm super impressed how far 3DS emulation and hacking has come. It looks absolutely fantastic.

title should probably reflect that its a mod, considering its switch season

also its worth noting the rumored "pokemon port" for nx would be 6 months after march, which is long enough for it to be Sun / Moon 2 or something else.

I kinda prefer the outline.

Here it's removed mostly because in emulation it doesn't up-res like the rest of the graphics and is generally buggy.

It's too bad that dual screens don't translate well to a single monitor. I'd love DQ7 or SMT4 on Citra.

do any of these emulators let you split the screens onto separate monitors? bottom on right top on left etc

No, but it is shown separately in a fixed location, so some people have rigged together ways to duplicate a display and crop into that specific part.

I kinda prefer the pixelated graphics for this game. 1080p makes it look like a shitty Unity Kickstarter game. Look at how janky the movement is.

Might want to add spoiler in the title? Alolan Diglett/Dugtrio is not officially revealed yet.

e: I'm wrong. It's in the demo, albeit in a different way.

Holy shit that Dugtrio what is going on.
Alolan Dugtrio's hair is based on the natural phenomenon of Pele's Hair:

Volcanologists call it Pele's Hair, after the Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes, but the golden strands are actually fragile volcanic fiberglass. They're formed when lava is ejected into the air and small droplets are caught by the wind, which then cools and stretches them into very thin strands.
