Former FBI Director James Comey now believes that President Donald Trump was trying to influence his judgment about the Russia probe,
a person familiar with his thinking says, but whether that influence amounts to obstruction of justice remains an open question.

"You have to have intent in order to obstruct justice in the criminal sense," the source said, adding that "intent is hard to prove."
Comey will testify publicly before the Senate intelligence committee after Memorial Day, the panel's leaders announced Friday.
The central question at that blockbuster hearing will be whether Comey believed the President was trying to interfere with his investigation.

This has been the happiest I've been since before election day. I've had a shit eating grin all week and every day has been like Christmas waking up to new gifts from the press and IC.

I've been making the crack to Trumpeters that Roger Stone wanted near Trump as he has a Paul Bearer-esque urn filled with the ashes and unquiet soul of Nixon. When the time was right, he opens the container and a sickly purple smoke envelopes the candidate. There is no Donald now, only Stone's beloved master Richard.

I mean the GOP still stole a SCOTUS seat, will probably put a bunch of judges on lower courts, are still trying to fuck healthcare (instead of improve it), will pass some shitty tax cut (even if its temporary and less than originally planned), are fucking with environmental regulations, net neutrality is in danger, etc. I mean I guess this right now is the best case scenario (Thank God) given that Trump won but its still VERY BAD Trump won :/

As an aside, MSNBC was talking about a WSJ story where they tried an intervention on Trump to get him to stop tweeting.......a month ago LOL

Everything can be reversed except the court nominations. That will be the biggest legacy of Trump administration. I just hope RBG is drinking the blood of virgins to stay on for four more years.

By all reports Johnson is a likeable guy and has a strong work ethic.

Zuckerburg's at least been successful in business.

I agree neither should overshadow the real Dem candidates, but both would be marked steps up from Trump.

This had to happen.

Trump had to become president and show what a disaster he is in order for the country to move on. Had Hillary won, Trump would've still been king shit of his fuck mountain, along with his followers criticizing everything. No, because now,with Trump proving what an incompetent piece of corrupt shit he is, we can no longer assume someone will be able to govern just because they talk big. Give them time, even some (not all) of his 35% will come around. Especially without Fox brainwashing them.

This week has just been absolutely tremendous. So much yuge news I'm getting exhausted from all this winning. Now we need to hope he takes the GOP down with him. Nothing would make me happier than seeing them crumble and die. And it would be a cherry on top to see McConnell and Ryan or frankly any Republican put in cuffs too.
