Yeah, not sure if calling it Prey really helps it or hurts it. Clearly they went with an established IP because it's harder to sell a new one, but was Prey lighting up the charts?
I guess we're all paying attention to it more than we would have.
When hooking outlets to purchase copies for pre-sale, it could be easier to quote things like "When released in 2006 the original Prey made critical success and sold $xx million copies. Prey in 2017 will build upon that success!" instead of only "...from the makers of Dishonored come a new sci-fi horror game..."
So the Prey name has some value for sale categories.
