ATLUS are having a PSN Price Drop event soon; I'd post a pic, but GMail is derping on me. :p

What the hell ever happened to Retro/Grade? If I remember correctly it was once scheduled to come out in early 2011 and yet I don't think we've heard a thing since.

Pure Chess coming to PS3 and Vita next week in Europe. No online multiplayer but there will be turn based messaging play...

Price will apparently be £4.99. It's not yet known whether it's buy one get both.

At that price, I will probably bite. This is also supposed to get a Plus discount, isn't it?
Are there any videos/screens besides that one trailer that's on the PSN? I'd like to see at least something.

Haha, that's awesome.

As for the actual game, it looks like another TMNT Reshelled. No thanks.

Yeah, every preview I've read for the game isn't exactly positive. Why do I get the feeling Wayforward started work on this straight after bloodrayne was done.

I wonder why Europe always gets chess games first/at all. They got Wii Chess as well, while the US didn't.
I think there are countries over there where kids are required to play chess, and being good at it earns the respect of your peers. It's the polar opposite in the states.

Europe gets the PS3 version today with the Vita version following on 18th April 2012.

Bought the game today and played for about an hour. It feels a bit barebones, but I guess at that pricepoint, it's okay. Too bad this has no cross-play features.
I can at least confirm that it supports custom soundtrack, which is probably a necessity, since while I can understand their choice in slow and calm music, it's more likely to put you to sleep than to help you concentrate.
Also, I have to check, but I think the chess set with the Roman soldiers isn't even in the game.

Anyone at amateur level who wants to play?

Hmm this makes me wondering - Gow HD collection with trophies on PS3 vs Gow PSP games on Vita.

Well, do you want the games at a locked 60fps on PS3? Or do you want them on the go? If you just want to play the game at home, go for the PS3 version, its incredible how well the games scale up to the platform.

That's pretty awesome. SCEE still have a long way to go but they seem to have finally understood that sales and price drops lead to more people buying stuff. It'll be interesting to see what other games they sneak into the update, like they did with some of the Square Enix titles last time. I have no idea why they don't provide a full list, it doesn't seem like a particularly smart strategy.

Hope that the majoraty of the titles are Vita compatable, if so this is a good start for my UMD to DD transition (aKa JP loyalty program)... =)

Well I can tell you for certain that Killzone: Liberation doesn't work at the moment. Not sure about the others though.

Any word on Doctor Who Eternity Clock? It's almost the end of April and I still haven't seen a release date for this.

? It's only just halfway through April :p

Well, I assume we aren't getting it today so there is only one more date left in April that is a Tuesday and then the next Tuesday after that is May 1st. PSN wise, we're already nearing the end of the month. :p
