Jill (and Wesker) are playable in Mercs and Versus.Sean said:The way Jill was handled in RE5 was laughable. The reveal that she waswas totally fucking obvious (especially with all of Capcom's "RIP Jill" tombstone ads), and more annoying is the fact that Capcom made some high-res Jill model just for like a shitty two minute gameplay segment that you don't even get to control her.the masked bird lady

I was hoping that Chris and Jill would reunite and partner up together for the rest of the game (or at least one mission) at that point. That would have been an awesome way to end the game.

The partner AI isn't nearly as bad as some people make it out to be. That said, they still need to beef up the partner AI significantly.
It never ended. You weren't around in 1996? We got:permutated said:WTF? It begins?
Director's Cuts even after Special Editions? No wonder the industry is crumbling.
Plus a remake of that game..and a port of that remake too.Dot50Cal said:It never ended. You weren't around in 1996? We got:

Probably a Jill version of Separate Ways. They never showed what happened to her post-implant removal and pre-helicopter rescue. I'm banking multi-platform. Do you think it's actually a whole re-release of the game or is she just not sure what DLC is and is labelling it as a director's cut?

There also needs to be a re-tooled, no co-op campaign option, as well as the option to play through the campaign as Wesker and Jill.
There also should be a customizable Mercs mode that lets you choose your starting equipment, weapon strength, and AI difficulty.
The Mercs-exclusive weapons (Samurai Edge, Px4) should be unlockable in single-player.
Jill (and Wesker) are playable in Mercs and Versus.
I have always wanted to play the PC port just for the uzi weapon, it was in a screenshot once in a PSX magazine and ever since then i've always wanted to play it.Dot50Cal said:It never ended. You weren't around in 1996? We got:

Sheeva death scene shortly after Jill's plagua removal.
Jill replacing Sheeva's model at start
Jill killing Wesker with Chris instead of newbie Sheeva.
Train plaqua that was in the artbook for Biohazard 5.
One player mode with no forced co-op.
Oh, wait half these won't happen and Jun will still have failed to touch the Godfather of Biohazard's 4. My mistake.
What? It was far more streamlined and simple to use than RE4. Just learn to use the "shortcuts" for equip and combine.lorddarkflare said:Lol.
Personally, i do not mind the co-op, i just wish it hap been better designed.
Also, the new inventory can fuck itself. I could have lived with the ridiculous space decrease, and the ridiculous split, but the fact that it so cumbersome just took the fucking cake.

There's gotta be something really sweet in the director's cut to make me buy resident evil 5 again.
Same here. Played through RE4 like 10 times on the Gamecube, and on my 3rd run of the PC version of 5. People just like to complain I think.LiK said:i loved RE4 (got all 3 consoles versions), but i also loved RE5 (got both versions). we exist! ;P

I personally think people who think RE4 is some kind of masterpiece, but RE5 to be a bad game, to be furiously silly people. They're both amazing games, and RE5 did some huge advancements to the general combat like the new melee moves and mercenaries in general. You'd have to have some really irrational hatred towards coop with human players and hot AI Sheva if you dislike RE5.
Yeah, I also didn't like the demo at first, but I changed my mind after playing it online with my cousin. Co-op is what makes the game good. We both bought the game and played until we got the platinum trophy. I probably would have only played it one time and never touched it again if I had to play with AI Sheva.bumpkin said:I played the demo and hated it, but I loved the full game...
