It may have that goddamn Rob Thomas singing on it, but I can't deny that I love Santana's 'Smooth.'
Nice choice for a song. Will buy.

I know we are getting more souleye, but I want some more chiptune variety... I think I own all the chiptune stuff on PSN... would wish the Fantomenk stuff would hit PSN.

Now I have someone to blame for the endless assault on my ears. I talked to a dude that made that Chaotrope stuff and he claimed he could play all the stuff on a real guitar. So why not use a real guitar?? :( :( :(

Shit dlc again. HMX hates their fans so much

As much as I prefer other genres, I love seeing a good variety.

What do you prefer??

Wow, where did this topic come from?

Anyway, I don't care for next week's DLC; Men at Work doesn't interest me and I loathe anything Santana has put out in the 90's/00's (at least it isn't that Chad Kroeger song). Ah well, I needed to save money anyway, so I'm not complaining.

DLC for next week:

RockBand said:
Known for their catchy melodies and hard rocking riffs, Florida-based band Shinedown first hit the scene in early-2000s. In 2008, the band’s popularity grew with their successful third album, The Sound of Madness, which produced a string of hit singles. Two of these tracks, “Second Chance” and “The Crow and the Butterfly,” will come to the Rock Band Music Store on Tuesday, March 27th!

Shinedown’s long-awaited fourth studio album, Amaryllis, hits shelves on March 27th. “Bully,” the first single off of the record, has already made its mark on the Billboard charts, and hits the Music Store as part of the “Sounds of Shinedown Pack.”

An optional Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrade for “Second Chance,” the band’s most successful single to date, will also be available.

Available on Xbox 360, Wii™ and PlayStation®3 system (March 27th, 2012):

• Shinedown – “Second Chance” O X
• Shinedown – “The Crow and the Butterfly” O
• Shinedown – “Bully” O

(These tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation®3 system March 28th)

("Bully" will be delayed on PS3 in the US and should be available on 4/10. This should not affect the availability of the Shinedown pack on the PS3.)

Tracks marked with “O” feature support for keyboards; tracks marked with “X” will offer Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song.

Price:

$5.49, £2.49 UK, €3.99 EU (440 Microsoft Points, 550 Wii Points™) for “Sounds of Shinedown Pack”
$1.99 USD, £.99 UK, €1.49 EU (160 Microsoft Points, 200 Wii Points™) per song
$0.99 USD (100 Wii Points™/80 Microsoft Points), £0.59 UK, €0.79 EU per song for eligible Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade

** Dates for Rock Band game tracks are tentative and subject to change. **

EDIT: BAH! Beaten by seconds!

Shinedown has been a staple of modern rock radio since Second Chance and their cover of Simple Man blew them up; granted, that means you'd have to turn on a modern rock station to know about them, which I would not advise under any circumstance.

My radio listening habits are KEXP (Seattle indie station), NPR and sports radio.

Rewrite

Not as deep as he thinks
:lol omfg @ the DLC. :lol :lol

And the temporary suspension of the DLC releases for PS3 and Wii (lol) users sucks. It's like the beginning of the end even though that is not the case.

Much more substantial RBN week, and one completely lacking in metal despite touching pretty much every other genre. Only real highlight is probably The Luck You Got, the theme to Shameless in the US.

Punk
Aiden - "Broken Bones" (160 MSP)

R&B/Soul/Funk
Danny and the Lost Souls - "Soul Candy" (80 MSP)

Reggae/Ska
Sunny Side Up - "She's Rad" (80 MSP)

Rock
Joe Vikingo - "Todo lo que Pienso" (160 MSP)

Kinda glad it's not something too PAX-friendly. Won't have every other person playing these this weekend.

They don't even care anymore. Evanescence? LOL

Joins Evanescence we already had via official DLC. Another band that's had official -> RBN -> official releases I think actually.

I wish the first ones were able to get harmonies retroactively added to them.
