Russians simply have a different outlook on life and its value, its difficult for us in the West to comprehend this.

They have never known a time when they weren't at the mercy of whatever goon squad was in the Kremlin.

From Kindergarten they are taught that they are their to serve 'Mother Russia'.

That is true.
But remember that a century ago, Russians did a revolution. At a time when most of their population were serfs. Actual serfs.
That Russian serfs a century ago, had more courage than modern day Russians is an impressive achievement.

Yes but all they did was to replace one tyranny for another. Russians today have simply concluded that whoever runs the country its going to be shit for them...just varying degrees of shit.

Not exactly. The Russian Communist Party only got a minority of votes in the first Russian elections, after the revolution.
The Communists took power by force, in a brutal civil war.

Another thing to consider is that we have the benefit of hindsight. We know that all communist regimes devolved into authoritarianism, genocide, misery and poverty.
We also have the power of hindsight of knowing that Stalin, Beria, Lenin, etc, were some of the absolute worst monsters that humankind ever produced.
But Russia was the first country were communism was the ruling power. Even the few Russians that were communists at the time could have never imagined it would become so bad.

In Berdychi, Ukraine’s M-1 Abrams Tanks Made Their Last Stand—And Halted The Russian Advance.

The Ukrainian 47th Brigade has lost three of its 31 M-1s.

The publication of the Ministry of Defense of Norway on participation in the Czech projectile initiative claims that the volume of the program has increased by approximately 200,000 projectiles.

Fighters of the 3rd Assault Detachment of the "OMEGA" Special Purpose Center repel the enemy tank and infantry attack in Robotyne using AT-4 and MK-19 grenade launcher. Fierce battles are taking place in the Robotyne area, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are inflicting huge losses on the enemy.
Part of the enemy's equipment was blown up by mines, the other part was destroyed by FPV drones of the special forces.

The SSU informs of suspicion of "stormtrooper V" in captivity, who had previously shot a Ukrainian prisoner of war. The perpetrator was Dmitriy Kurashov, a repeatedly convicted shooter with the Storm-V assault unit of the 127th motorized rifle division of the Eastern Military District of the russian federation. On January 6 this year, Kurashov made at least 3 aimed shots at a captured Ukrainian. The occupier faces life imprisonment.

That OMEGA video is stressful watching. The Ukrainians truly fight like lions.

Fuck the west for being so fucking weak and not supplying enough weapons.

Don't forget that part with the nukes.
One thing is supporting a country in a war. A whole different matter is a conflict with Russia.
The later could easily escalate to nuclear war.

i don't think that russia need escalation to use nuke it probably would use it in desperation if front collapsed and they couldn't stop ua by any other means, this is sad thing because it means only way to stop russia is from within, that's why this war will never ends, i still want russia army destroyed even if it is a chance that it comes to nukes, but west doesn't.

Tsarism fall started after the Russian empire lost against Japan which was then considered to be a much inferior nation. History may bis repetita?

“Ukrainian People's Deputy Goncharenko stated that the target of the attack was the Beriev A-50 airborne early warning and control platform. He added that the aircraft was successfully struck and destroyed during the operation. Unit cost estimated at $330,000,000.”

French state services hit by cyberattacks of 'unprecedented intensity'.

France is world's second biggest arms exporter, just ahead of Russia:

A rough day for the RuSSkies! Sorry, not sorry.

Frontline report: Ukrainians conduct vicious surprise tank raid, wipe out Russian force accumulation near Kupiansk. Ukraine launched a devastating surprise tank raid near Kupiansk, Ukrainian armor catching accumulated Russian forces off guard and wiping them out before their planned offensive in the region could begin.

Russian "military correspondents" report that another Russian "war correspondent", Yegor "Thirteenth" Guzenko, might have been killed in the war. There has been no official confirmation.

After Russia lost 2 prized A-50 planes, Ukraine struck a factory that's replacing them, reports say.

And this is another big reason why NATO needs to step up the transfer of fighter planes to Ukraine.
Too many western politicians are sitting on their thumbs, while civilians are dying in Ukraine.

Not the first Pope that sides with dictators.
Hitler and Mussolini with Pious XII come to mind.
For an entity that claims to be the voice of God, the Catholic church finds itself too often on the wrong side of history.
God often finds himself on the wrong side of history, though

I think the delay here is it's not like giving them a simpler weapon. Pilot needs training, maintenance crews need training and logistics for that needs implementing aswell. It's a frustrating wait but the west should have done it way earlier.

Plus, there's one other thing. Once equipment gets transfered to Ukraine, it becomes open to Russian missile attacks. So they need to make sure the ground crews can quickly prep those planes for relocation to another base, to keep the Russians guessing. Having equipment just laying around in Ukraine, until everybody gets fully trained, is a considerable risk not worth taking.

Fucking North Korea seems more capable of supporting Russia than most of NATO combined. We have the fucking CIA warning of the consequences and we still have holdouts in our congress and might even elect a new idiot who totally turns his back on supporting Ukraine and NATO. It's just a mind fuck what is happening. No doubt Ukraine is still getting a ton of aid, but it seems we are at a point where China, North Korea, and Iran are doing a better job suppling Russia who is seemingly also bettering their weapons production for an even more prolonged and destructive conflict.

Reuters article regarding the attack on Nizhny Novgorod oil facility: Industry sources told Reuters on condition of anonymity that the main crude distillation unit (AVT-6) at NORSI was damaged in the attack, which means that at least half of the refinery's production is halted. Lukoil declined to comment. NORSI refines about 15.8 million tonnes of Russian crude a year, or 5.8% of total refined crude, according to industry sources.
It also refines about 4.9 million tonnes of gasoline, 11% of Russia's total, 6.4% of diesel fuel, 5.6% of fuel oil and 7.4% of the country's aviation fuel, according to industry sources.

Hours ago, Russia sent a $5,000,000 missile 300km distance into an apartment block full of families in Zelensky's hometown of Kryvyi Rih. There are 48 victims.

10 of them are children.

That phone call was circulated by the French Government through France 24, the public french channel, long ago.

And yep, that was diplomatic Macron. 😚

Wait till all the diplomacy remaining inside us is handing diplomas to those of our soldiers who have built the biggest pile of Russian skulls. 🫡

In other news, Colonel General Poznhikir was/is appointed as 'temporary' Chief of Staff of the Russian Army, supposedly because Commander General Valery Gerasimov, the brickface 🧱 guy you all used to see along Shoiguuuuuuuuuu and Putin, the only true military man of the 3, if such a thing existed in the Russian Federation, the highest of the green men, was 'on vacation'. No mention of Gerasimov in the documents a la 1984, out of sight out of mind. The document dates from March and Gerasimov was supposedly blown waay back, and when Poznhikir was appointed as 'temporary' Chief of Staff supposedly Gerasimov was already back from his 'vacation'. Last time he was 'alive', he was handing some awards on February 29.

Make your own conclusions, but all this paper diarrhea pretty much confirms you have Ger there...and Asi over there...and the chunk that is Mov is being chewed by that field hamster waaaaaassy over there. Because we fucking know if he was alive, he would be paraded left and right, instead of quietly 'papering' him. Same as the High Command of the Black Sea Fleet, we fucked us an Admiral, boyos, and all his cockcleaners, that's why you see lately 'changes' and 'dismissals' in the Fleet because poor performance or whatever yadda yadda.

Both Admiral Sokolov and Major General Valeryi Gerasimov, while being the butt of the jokes due to their respective branches performance, which is what you get when a dangerous narcissist psychopath like Putin micromanages your military and your Navy, were regarded by Zaluzhny and other militarily relevant western officers as the cream of the cream of what Russia had, Zaluzhny himself spoke of Gerasimov as a great general and strategist. So you can bet the current yes men performances, not having any say to change even a comma of what Putin tells them to do, are gonna be good because they don't have seniority of command and succeses under their belt that can buckle or suggest changes to Putin's whims.

The hypocrisy in this thread is appalling. Are people really cheering in here when they see people/soldiers die? No matter what side you are on, it`s just plain wrong.
And since when is giving weapons a way to get peace? The West just disgusts me. Europe is just one big joke, governed by the biggest idiots let alone the US, which meddles in the affairs of other countries like always.

And what do you purpose to end the war? Put some sense in Putin?
Let's hope your not in the east and get your house destroyed by some Ruzzian missile in the future.

Wel maybe put some reason to Zelensky and the West? The chances to get hit by our own Nato missiles is higher then Ruzzian, thats for sure.
