Did they though? Sure, Cinder infiltrated that tower last season, but they didn't explain who has the technical expertise to do that, and why no one thought to check the computers after someone very explicitly raided the tower.

But yeah, notice how that scene even takes the time to put in a shot that's entirely devoted to Sun seeing Blake hold Yang's hand? That shot is constructed so that he's seeing their relationship. Not to worry over Blake. Not to worry over Yang losing her arm. He's seeing Blake reacting to Yang.

I know it would've broken up the escalation here, but this would've, imo, been a better time for Weiss to unlock her summon, as a way of giving Ruby an opening to climb the tower without Kevin's interference. Still love the actual scene though.
