I thought about SaltyBet the other day, didn't know if it was still going. This shit took over my life for about two weeks in 2013, I had to make myself stop watching it. I've never done real gambling, but I think I have whatever gene makes you unable to resist it. Dangerous stuff.

Looks like the chat's way more tepid now though. Half the fun was the chat going crazy.

Yes.

But be warned, a lot of the characters that we thought were OP back then pale in comparison to the real big hitters now. A tiers are like old S tiers.

Rundown of the tiers

P - Potato Tier, self explanitory
B - Characters that aren't totally stupid, they have an AI and do normal damage.
A - Characters with really good AI or good damage.
S - Characters that are pretty much broken, but are defeatable.
X - All the horseshit insanity characters.

Heh, I remember when I was at the top of the leaderboards for a while last year. Would stay up for hours, have pages of notes and everything for SaltyBet... Ended up forcing myself to throw all my cash away in dumb bets so I could quit my obsession with this.

Nice to see it's still going.

Well not really that IS his super. It's funny when the move doesn't actually kill the opponent, the Offline screen stays up and you can hear them fighting behind it.

The thought of tuning in usually passes through my head weekly.

Those being seperate salties is wierd. Tournaments are when you make or lose your ass. It's part of the charm.

That's one of the reasons I stopped playing in February, once you get below 200 people, you can't move. Too little money, few upsets, low odds, and much of the players left bet conservatively.

Toss that in with auto-tournaments and it's your past.
