Avoiding the shitstorm that was most of the first few pages.
But I really can't help but be irritated by the OP. Dude you decided to spend your money on something that your friends didn't... What did you expect? "Oh Johnny got a PS4, guess we all have to now too!"
Seriously did you not play games the last few gens? Most people don't jump until a few years deep. They wait until there is a real value proposition. They wait until there is a library of games to warrant buying new hardware. Without the games it's just another piece of plastic to fill an entertainment center. Look at last gen and look at all the games you wanted to play but missed, now compare that to the entire library for the new gen.... For a lot of people that makes it easy to wait.
I personally am still waiting to see a single game that would make me buy an X1/PS4 if I didn't work in the industry and need know the boxes well enough.
