Also, doesn't nearly every dev say that the tradeoff for 60fps just isn't worth it compared to what you can do at 30? I mean, don't get me wrong - 60fps is all I give a rat's dick about, but I've been told time and time again that development-wise, it's not a sacrifice worth making because nobody really gives a shit despite a chosen few. Yes, chosen!

Seriously. Doesn't resolution 'generally' take a hit as the console generation grows older and devs push for more effects? Really not the smartest thing to say, imo. People are definitely going to quote this in the coming years.

From what I played at a local-ish Gamestop, it's most definitely not. It's 30 with very apparent dips when the action gets hectic (such as Knack's tornado move).

Oh, I believe him. All the indies games he'll introduce to PS4 will be 1080p 60 fps for sure. Now first parties will also probably be 1080p, but I don't see third or first staying at 60 for every game.
