Sonax TV stand. PS3 top left, record player bottom left. Cable box and receiver in the middle.
Top right I have the cable modem and router, some various large case Blurays to hide the UPS behind all of it.
Actually have it inside the stand in order to keep it as close to the wall as possible.

Good view of seating (and a cat sleeping on a chair). 3/4 main seats on the couch actually recline.

Quick and dirty picture of LG 55" TV (LM6200). Got it in December, really liking the SmartTV idea.

You have huge feet if that TV is 50"

Hahaha Xbox 360 XL as well... My pic a couple pages back has a 52" over 2 360s and a ps3 with a few inches on all sides and between.

That 3 piece canvas is sweet. Canvasworld.com is good in the US does the same and will enhance and clean up any picture. They advertise on Howard Stern all the time but I can't remember the promo code.

I forgot to mention that I had installed terminal disconnects to all of the speaker outputs (except for the in walls).

^^^^^

Lovely. Wife and I are moving in to our first home soon and this gives me hope for our basement.

Thanks! Trust me when I say that once you complete a project in your new house, it puts a smile on your face that you can't take off whenever you look back on it...

Here's what I started with...

Yes it happens a lot, but it's also very common to NOT have all that carpet.

Great stuff, Mattlikewhoa.

Thanks! ^_^

Nice !!!
How do you decide for which content you use the Plasma vs. the Projector?
Is that a marantz receiver?

Oh crap, I knew I had forgot to post that. Yes, good eyes, that's a Marantz SR5006.

As for content, I usually watch all movies and sporting events on the projector. I also watch primtime shows that I'm into (HBO). I like to game on it as well, but I have to be in the mood for it.

Regular HDTV watching, and gaming is done on the plasma.

mate do u mind pming me or posting your settings for the tv? I have a pn64e8000 plasma and im keen to see your optimal settings. thanks.

I don't know if my settings will help you but I'll take a look next time I have time.

@ Mattlikewhoa - what's the deal with those decals? They are amazing! Where did you get them?

We had a graphic artist come by and design them for us. She then had them printed and installed them.

They turned out great! I plan to use her again for the baby's room once I start that project.

lol. That's WAY too much stuff for me to have around. I'd go crazy. Especially because I like to dust everything biweekly. All that would be too much.

But having what you have in the mancave while having a wife even? Awesome wife. Hope I have a cool wife someday. =P

How do you stay so damn clean?
Vacuum every now and then, and I'm a bit of a obsessive compulsive cleaner. I detail cars for a living.

just wondering, you don't find the tv too high up? i always feel it's most comfortable when the center of the tv is right infront of me.
might be hard to tell, but TV mount is angled down. No probals with it like that. If it was just flush, yea, it'd be a problem.

Great setup but you should really get black wall plates for the sockets on the black wall :)

It's a PVM-14M4U for those who are interested. I'm hoping to find a 20" PVM/BVM eventually. 14" is a tad too small, as great as the picture is.

That TV is a thing of beauty.

I really need to do this. I have an old Samsung GXTV in great shape sitting at my parents' house that would be perfect for it. Using a small 720P HDTV for the Wii and PS2 now. But I also have my Saturn, Game Cube, and Dreamcast all boxed up and I'd love to break them out again. Although space is also an issue...

Apologies. I thought I noticed Yamaha mounts and the colour is the same as my old Stage Custom so I jumped to the wrong conclusion.

Sweet setup though. I'm rocking a racked Yamaha Oak Custom myself and I have a Roland TD-8 at home.

no need for apologies. good to see a fellow drummer here on neogaf. i also have a sonor safari kit which my son plays on. awsome kit for the price. did your cymbals crap out on your TD8? my hi hats, ride, crash cymbals are crapping out on my TD9kx. i only had it for less than 4 years.

Oh man. If you gave me a comforter I could practically live there. It looks so cozy!

With the seats reclined, it's pretty ridiculous. You really don't want to get up.

We got this new sectional couch in December because we needed more seating, but when my wife and I went to the store it was the first one we sat on and my wife said, "I can't get up." It's just that comfortable. Easy sell

Cymbals are fine. In fact no problems at all and I've had it since 2005.

My now condensed "retro" setup. The Wii handles all of the 8/16-bit stuff.

NJZEe.jpg

Excellent. I don't know about the towers, since the screen is so small I'd have to sit close, and the stage would be messed up-- but excellent nevertheless.

Oh man, really? You went so far as to get a TV like THAT (which is just awesome) and you're going to use the Wii?! It doesn't even support proper 240p for those games!

Got some new stuff working in my arcade room. Wired up a J-360 to a PVM broadcast monitor as my vertical shmup display via VGA and everything routed through a set of stereo speakers. Also, added an MVS to my little SNK beater cab. Just have to order a lightbulb for the cabinet.

I'm almost positive that the Wii is outputting a 240p signal with the 8/16-bit stuff.

Excellent. I don't know about the towers, since the screen is so small I'd have to sit close, and the stage would be messed up-- but excellent nevertheless.
Would you suggest a pair of studio monitors or something along those lines? I'm currently drawing up plans for a new stand that'll fit a 20" PVM/BVM, and I'm trying to work out an audio solution that'll allow me to stick everything into one "unit".

Damn, so clean looking. Love it!

If you don´t mind me asking, what is that Sony PVM model? Its size looks just like what I´ve been looking for.
PVM-14M4U. The picture is great but it's a little on the small side.

I'll apologize first for the quality of the photo's, I took them on my iPad mini.

I just moved from my old place and I live with my girlfriend and two mates. Our house is double story, 6 bedrooms and upstairs is ours and downstairs is the housemates. We get 3 bedrooms up stairs as they are smaller and the other guys get downstairs (one has just 1 room but it's the master bedroom with an en-suite).

I have my setup split across two rooms; console gaming in the bedroom and PC gaming in another.

I could tell by the picture it was small yes, but a 14" is just about what I´m looking for in terms of size to put in my desk to play consoles, maybe even setup a supergun too. Thanks for the tip!
