Well, thanks to the bonus items I finally made the billion in Springfield Heights. Underwhelming reward, but finally having that out of the way feels good.

Shifted all my sci-fi stuff into a nice neat row, and have a big chunk of land staked out for Halloween. Interested to see what it's like this year; the last few events have been full of content and interest, and I'm hoping it's better than last year's anemic display.

I'm at 563million in SH at the moment. I've got 9 exclusive resorts under construction and three more regular buildings that I'll be done with by the time I go to bed. The 9 resorts will be all I have left to do after that.

I'll be glad to get it out of the way. I'm actually also working on unlocking all the land in Krustyland so I can spread things out a bit. No real reason to but it's something to pass the time :)

ooops. Just figured out how to find the rest of the stuff I need to build. Got loads more to do lol :)

I can still do this though. I'm past 600million and I've got all those buildings ready to pop (Plus 2 of the giant island resorts). I'll make sure I have full reserves of currency before I go to bed. This is probably the only time where I could stand to finish this off too :)

Holy shit...

I've made some great progress with this buff, I bought all of the land that's available. I just need to buy more things to put in there, I've moved some mansion type stuff from the regular land up to Springfield Heights as well.

And I made myself nearly broke buying up more land for the upcoming Halloween event. I I should put out all my old Halloween stuff permanently.

Treehouse of Horror 2016 is a go!

Lisa and Homer start with a few short tasks, several new premium items and the usual atmosphere come with the update.

Looks really neat- stuffed with content, as most of the events have been lately. Interested to see how it develops; looks like they've got a lot of systems tucked away in this one.

D'oh, I missed getting the last thing from Phase 1 by a little bit. Don't think I'll get them all this phase either because I was out of town and not really checking in while I was away.

Pagan-themed Winter event out now, and it seems... feeble? Little new content, and very heavy on the crafting.

It only lasts until the end of the month, too.

This is by far the lamest large event so far. Pretty disappointing. I don't even mind the theme, but this prize track is a joke. I'd be surprised if many people actually grind for everything. Just give me the Burns God and I'm out.

I finally tapped out from Tapped Out back in October and I really haven't missed it.
Events like this one sure as heck won't bring me back.

I've been a pretty passive player at this point.

I'll log on for the Holiday stuff, sometimes. Other than that, I don't care anymore.


EDIT: Screw it, I uninstalled. It was fun 3-4 years that I played.

Since the game moved away from level updates and into focussing on events, it's been much better- the Casino, Sci Fi and Halloween events were absolutely packed with content.

Just makes it all the more baffling that the Winter event is so light and fiddly.

Sorry for the bump but is anyone still playing this? need to add some friends. Also is there any way to grind donuts, or do you just have to pay for them. I'm enjoying building my own Springfield at the moment. I have a feeling this will get quite addictive.

Looks like most people bailed out of here earlier this year. I stopped late last year. Just wasn't enjoying it anymore.

I still play daily and my boyfriend plays occasionally as well. You can add us if you like: DandyCroc and RilesC1.

There are ways to grind donuts. Mainly find Maggie which is unlocked after doing all of Maggie's quests when you get her, doing daily tasks (cancel any task that doesn't give donuts by pushing the x in the corner of it. It will be replaced with a new task. If it doesn't give donuts, wait until you can cancel the task again and repeat this until you get one that gives donuts.)

Then there's Kwik-E-Mart farming but that's pretty endgame cause it requires lots of available resources but you gain levels, and therefore level up donuts, like crazy.

Most people don't post here any more but a handful still play regularly.
