Drugs kill people
I had pot brownies for the first time a couple months ago. Yes, I had too many. I had tried smoking weed before, but either I didn't smoke it right or whatever, didn't really get very high.
I was out of commission for two days. On the way up the high was alright, but once the full amount that I had ingested hit me, I could barely move. I spent the next 6 hours or so (at least) laying still, hallucinating with my eyes closed, having an honest to god conversation with myself in my own head. Whatever corner of my brain that was still sober was explaining what was going on to the rest of my brain and trying to talk him through it, trying to get him/me to relax, etc. And there I was, listening to the entire thing.
Finally at one point I was able to fall asleep and slept a good 12 hours or so, and once I got up my head was kinda foggy and slow but I was able to open my eyes, talk, etc. Moving was still very slow and my body still felt really heavy. I was only up for another 6-8 hours before going back to sleep. This time when I got up, my head wasn't really foggy anymore although I still felt kinda sluggish moving around. I didn't go to class that day because I didn't feel safe driving a car. For the rest of that second day I gradually felt better and better until the next day I was pretty much fine. I didn't feel completely back to normal for at least a couple more days, though.
Forgot to contribute my experiences:
Marijuana - Pretty standard, I smoke it on a semi casual basis. It's my favourite drug.
Coke - Didn't do much for me, it's more of a status drug for sure. The high doesn't last that long and for the price you pay, it's almost never worth it. You have to mix it with other things for it to be effective - usually alcohol.
Ecstasy - This would be the drug of choice in the 60's Free Love era. Very enjoyable high - makes you love everyone. I did it with a group of people once and after partying with them, we all woke up in bed spooning each other. I didn't have any overly negative side effects on it. Would do again.
Mushrooms - Changed my life. Serious. First time I took it, I was at a very low point in my life. Mushrooms literally inspired me to turn it around. It's almost like a born again experience.
LSD - Similar experience to mushrooms but the hallucinations were much stronger. Would have had a life altering experience if I had tried it before mushrooms.
Bullshit. There's nothing wrong with a little toke at the end of your daily routine. Tons of your bosses and teachers and other fully-functioning adults are living like this right now: they just don't tell you about it.
Daily can be an addiction. I also hate those people because they constantly "brag" about weed and talk about it so much. No one cares.
The most note worthy thing I can think of is that i've done DMT about 5 times..
So basically your only experience with marijuana is the blatant users who literally advertise that they smoke it.
It's like someone said "videogames" and you starting talking about gamers with manboobs who don't shower and play WoW all day.
It's completely out of touch, dude.
Man, some people definitely become psychologically addicted to it. The same way people can get addicted to internet porn and shit. Thats not to say weed is bad, but for some people, it does become part of the way they live and if they dont have it, they fiend for it. They wont have seizures or shit like that, but they'll desperately want to get some.Bullshit. There's nothing wrong with a little toke at the end of your daily routine. I currently take 14 pills a day, not including any otc pills I might take for heartburn or inflammatory pain, or any precription pill I might take for breakthrough pain.
haha, yeah that shit can give you a serious trip.
Best trip i ever had was after taking a LOT of shrooms. That was just... insane.
Worst trip i ever had was on a bit too much LSD. And the problem was that it seemed to go on forever. It's not that time is still relevant in any way at that point. An hour can seem like a day.
No, I've come across tons of weed users who don't brag but they don't use it everyday.
Guess what, weed users who don't brag are...... invisible! Funny how that works.
I would definitely like to try DMT. Problem is I'm not in tune my my local drug community anymore so I have no idea where to get it. Being an adult can be shitty when you want to try more exotic drugs.
Dude, wtf? How is that possible? Could you seriously not function without all those drugs? Hell, what about the cost? That's got to add up.

I wouldn't say thats anything to worry about, though. Anybody can become psychologically addicted to a good thing if its readily available. Like with anything, 'in moderation' and you're good.
Love 'em.
There's a difference between bragging and just saying you smoke weed.
I didn't inhale.
But seriously, I bought weed from a friend, smoked it in my room one night by myself. It was hot and I had a fan on a stand up against the bed. I was so messed up that I thought that the vibration from the fan against my bed frame was my heart beat racing out of control. I was freaked the fuck out for a good hour. I'd smoked many times before, that was my last time. I think he dusted it with something. Don't talk to that guy anymore. I hear he has a really great dent pulling business.
Yeah of course, but as you say.. that's true of everything. Who isn't "addicted" to their smartphone, for example? It's only a problem if it's a problem.
I'd say people who "wake and bake" before school/work are impeding their progress (cause they'll be stoned ), but those who limit it to the evening, after work, when they'd normally just be watching TV or whatever? There's simply no problem there.
Yea, but daily use does significantly increase the chances of it turning into a problem. People who do it every 2 or more days(voluntarily, not because they cant find any!) are rarely gonna be 'stoner' types.
Alcohol is comsumed in moderation.
I had marijuana a few times and it's just pretty uncomfortable to me because it makes me feel like I'm in a lucid dream. I just feel locked inside of my body.
I've done a bunch of drugs. Probably more than most on GAF. 2012 is going to be very lite on drugs besides booze though.
Acid is the best drug.
