So Mia Khalifa is on twitch.

Oh man, Skin Diamond. Her retiring really sucked, especially considering the state of the industry for black women. The girls are hot (some of the my favorites, actually) but the content offerings is slim, to the say the least. Skin at least got a TON of work, whereas someone like Chanell Heart will seemingly pop up once every couple of months before disappearing again. Boo to that!

Skin's doing alright for herself making music at the moment. I get being disappointed that she retired, but she'd given all she had to give at that point, and I understand just wanting to try something new. And Chanell is actually consitently available, she just doesn't get booked as often as someone as good as she is should. Ana gets booked more, but still not enough. Misty, on the other hand, is someone who is only available every couple months for like a week or two.

And Riley Reid is another one who could make a bunch of money streaming, though I don't know if she's into games at all.

I guess this is the place to say this, but I've always hated Manuel Ferrara in the scenes he'd show up in, but I saw him streaming some MK and Doom on YouTube, and he actually seems like a cool dude

A lot of male porn stars seem like really cool dudes (James Deen can actually go to hell)

James is considered an asshole even by his friends. Like, the people that know and like him, when they came to his defense would basically say that yes, he's an asshole, but he isn't a rapist.

Keiran Lee is also a complete jackass, but a lovable one. He's that friend that gets on your nerves but also has your back.

What about Xander Corvus?

I mean, you could at least look into this "con" before labeling it an actual con. They are participants in a block of streamers who will be streaming to raise money for GuardianCon, an event/convention organized by a couple of the prominent Destiny streamers. The donations are going to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.

Normally I'd agree that a lot of streamers on Twitch have no shame, especially when begging for tips/subs, but your frustration is a bit misdirected in this case.

You're totally right. I assumed it was for their own benefit, not a charity stream. My apologies.

I'm surprised there isn't a popular site for people to do benign stuff on cam such as like cooking or just sitting around and chatting. Anyone here who has used adult cam sites knows half of the entertainment is just chatting with the model about whatever while they cook or open mail.

Mfc apparently has a little pet project like this going but only their models can stream on it.

I looked for two seconds.....Reagan shirt? And she's not even playing anything or doing anything with Twitch so.........why are people watching this?

Twitch seems to be encouraging more non-gaming content. I think their ultimate goal is to be more of a social network with streaming content. They aren't pushing it hard, but in recent surveys they have indicated that is where they want to go. I could see "personalities" becoming popular by basically livestreaming their entire day. Getting up, cooking breakfast, reading the news, playing some games, going out, etc. Back in the day there was a site called, "webcamming.com" or "videocam.com" or something. They were basically a storefront for webcams. It was when video conferencing and webcams were brand new. But they had an associated section that people could stream themselves. Basically people sitting in front of their computers just chatting away.

Twitch has a cooking category already. I do think that once they implement all of the social hooks they are planning, they will push and promote more non-gaming content.

Justin.tv > Twitch.tv > Justin.tv. Full circle.

Yeah. That is how it is going. I really wish I had screenshotted the last survey. They were talking about having nightly screenings of TV shows or movies and letting people publicly or privately chat while group watching. Talking about "Lifestyle" channels where people could stream their entire life. An actual news program that could broadcast daily. They asked alot of questions about building communities and such.

Gaming money is good, but if you can get non-gamers involved as well you can make more.
