I don't know why some of us here are so excited.
/Hype train stopper.
maybe in the NeoGAF, gaming forum parts perspective E3, rest of the world?
They do not even know what TLG is, nor do they care.
They would have made the decision to move it a couple of years ago. Who knows, but if they really intended for it to remain on PS3, and ever actually come out, the rereveal should have been last year, even if it wasn't going to be ready to next year.At this point they might just want to get it out the door and not put more time in porting it to the PS4.
Team ICO basically had zero output this generation. Sony has to be really displeased with the studio. It wouldn't surprise me if they shut them down after TLG is released.
I think they'd probably spin some ICO/Shadow of the Colossus talk in there if The Last Guardian ends up being revealed again. It would probably get people talking imo.
Good morning all
No, they don't. Multiplatform games aren't going to sell PS4s over XBOs.of course they will bring up TLG at the conference, it has lots of fans... but they would be better off giving sports games more time than TLG or FF series. They definitely need to show off FIFA, BF4 and COD if they want to "win" E3.
Not basically, that's exactly what happened. I don't think they're really in that much danger since The Last Guardian is probably their last game as Team ICO considering that Ueda left and is working freelance on TLG.
It is interesting that earlier this year they said they were waiting for the 'right time' to reveal the game again... perhaps the right time is during E3?
Bit sad, really. Unchecked ambition can prove detrimental sometimes. I hope for their sake TLG turns out to be a fantastic game. I wouldn't get my hopes up for an E3 2013 re-reveal though, but it would be awesome if they did show it.Not basically, that's exactly what happened. Well, Sony never does it, and they dominate Europe, so no, you're wrong.yes they are, especially outside US.
If people think they can play those games on Xbox One only, guess which console they are going to buy....
Sony needs to associate the PS4 brand with those games as well. That is very, very, very important. Unless you want the PS4 to just be a niche product for "hardcore" gamers.
That would be my guess. Probably some fancy press special edition.meh its the last of us

Duh, of course.Hey guys, I admit I havnt read every post here, glad we're all excited for the 10th, so I apolygise if what I ask has been asked already, will the event be Livestreamed?
Thanks in advance.
Duh, of course.
I wonder if that would have made much of a difference. It's not like we weren't all talking about the game before it was announced. In fact, it was even first leaked with the joke name we all called it, Trico. Also, it would have been much easier for Sony to drop if it hadn't been publicly revealed. Ueda already half jumped ship too. I think we'll get TLG, but only because they announced it so early. If not now, then we'll have to wait until TGS or next year's E3... agh. I think at that point, it'd just be too much for people.
I think they just announced The Last Guardian too early, honestly. It'd probably have been a better idea for the public to not know that Team ICO was working on a new game, but then that leak happened...
Considering that they've been working on it since then, the game is probably most definitely coming out at some point unless they want to waste all that work, but it's just a matter of when.
If TLG was announced for PS4 as a "launch" title and blew everyone minds at E3 (think MGS2 trailer/ Uncharted 2 sequence), do you guys think it will be a system seller or is it too niche?
Duh, of course.
7 Days to go. Thought I'd come up with a list of 10 topics (one per day) we can all post about until E3 gets here.

I think at some point people will just stop caring about the game. It would be in Sony's best interests to re-reveal it at E3 this year for the PS4. The game will most definitely come out, but it's just unfortunate that they ran into technical issues on the PS3.If not now, then we'll have to wait until TGS or next year's E3... agh. I think at that point, it'd just be too much for people.

No idea, but I wouldn't worry about it. They may announce it a few days before the event begins.Did Sony announce their official livestream by this time last year? I know we have a ton of options, but I'm just wondering since I haven't seen anything about their plans other than streaming on Vita.

it's probably a 100-page document about the drm policies and how they will be implemented in all ps4 games.
