I saw this in the OT, and it inspired the screens I shared at the very beginning of this thread.
I'm digging those kicks! What shoes are those?Where here is mine, I'm never getting rid of theses shoes
Oh, simple as that lol.
Remember on Wii U when you just had to press the home button, open an image uploader in the browser, and the screenshot was there ready to upload and post on GAF.
On Switch I only get the option to upload to FB or Twitter, which I don't particularly want to do. Ugh.
Twitter compresses. Best to just pop in the SD card and go from there. It's still faster than WiiU's cumbersome OS and browser.I made a twitter account specifically to upload photos to my pc. Its a really good quick and easy way to get them there without having to take the card out
You can upload to social media through the album, but I think this might compress the image, so I just take the SD card and do it through my laptop. Only takes a minute: Pop in card, copy/paste files, and upload to an image-sharing site.I was gonna post pictures but then after looking through my album I realized that most of them were of Marina acting cute. Time to rethink my priorities.
How do you post a Switch picture on the internet anyway?
Wait you can do the second option? Really?! That would be so convenient! I thought it was converted to some sort of encrypted mumbo jumbo or something like that! Thanks! Will post some pictures when I have access to a computer! You can upload to social media through the album, but I think this might compress the image, so I just take the SD card and do it through my laptop. And surely you must mean Pearl acting cute. After all, Pearl is the one that's cute, and talented, and amazing.
Hmm...all I see is a forehead. You sure you got the right pictures of this "Pole" character you keep mentioning?
This game is all about the asymmetric haircuts!my squidkid is the most fresh tbh
Very suave and professional. I like it! :-DNothing fancy with the photo mode, but here's my favorite outfit so far:
I already want the next Splatfest so I can get more slots for the shades.
That's an inspired idea for a picture set, getting a mid-action pose like that. Cool stuff, Azure.Fun fact: The Reef is actually the stage I liked more for this and wanted to get the images on, but I couldn't get this color without being in ranked recon mode. Also, getting a good capture of an inkling in the dualie prone stance is hard. :lol
That said, behold, the most urban inkling ever.
Oh man, I'm really digging that Inkling design!I also liked this outfit I used for the first day or two:
Going for a dip in single player (this level reminded me of Mahi Mahi Resort):
Aw, thanks man! :-3hatchx said:Ahh another Neiteio screenshot thread. I love it. Would love to see more of your pics from the story mode, there's some incredible locations and vistas, and like your BoTW gurrudo thread, you tell a nice story with your shots!
Whoa! How did you zoom in on your character there?
ZR I think. It's not my usual gear as the effect is bad at turf warWhoa! How did you zoom in on your character there?
If you have a microSD card, save them or copy them there, then put it in your computer. What's the best way of sharing the screenshots I take with the screenshot button? Share them on Facebook and then download the photos from there and host on imgur or whatever? Or is twitter better? Or does the Switch save them to the SD card?

I remember you from my Mario Kart thread. Awesome screens as usual!A few I have from story mode.
Whoa, it looks like you're in photo mode just with your character, with no amiibo in sight (except for the Marie one). How did do that?
Whoa! What kind of shoes are those? Is that just the color scheme, or are they like glowing or something?
Y'ALL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS

Nocturnowl, I saw you in my plaza the other day. I should've took a picture. :3I bet that's an Inkblott academy student.
Hopefully the spectator mode will give some good snapshot opportunities, I feel like the capture button struggles to get usage outside the plaza in this game at the moment.
Whoa, it looks like you're in photo mode just with your character, with no amiibo in sight (except for the Marie one). How did do that?
Once I find some time to play I'm doing this. I got like 7 splatoon amiiboOnly if you have an amiibo. It currently works with all of them.
First, you go to the amiibo box in the back of Inkopolis Square. Tap your amiibo to the controller (either right Joycon or center of Pro Controller).
If you haven't assigned a user and amiibo name, you'll be prompted to do so, then rescan.
The amiibo will come to life in its clear plastic prison, and offer to memorize your current control settings. Say "yes" or it'll disappear.
Next, the amiibo gives you some gifts. Each gives you three pieces in a set, like the schoolgirl uniform from the orange Inkling. They also give you music for Squid Beats.
And then they offer to take pictures with you either as is, or wearing gear you've assigned to them. Assign gear by hitting X, scrolling over to Other, then amiibo, then tap the amiibo to the controller to copy your current gear.
This is a pretty cool feature, since when you're in the multiplayer lobby you can swap gear (as well as gender, skin color, etc) simply by tapping in.
At any rate, in photo mode, you can rotate the camera, choose from four different poses for each Inkling (including a dancing pose), and also change the backdrop.
You need to clear Hero Mode to use the Callie and Marie amiibo, though.
Yeah, I answered my own question, lolAs said above, use the squid amiibo, then depending on the location either make it lay flat below the frame, or make it jump and time your photos so it's above the frame.
Nocturnowl, I saw you in my plaza the other day. I should've took a picture. :3
So is Spectator Mode something they're going to add at some point?
You wanted more story mode shots, so here are some from the second region, with a focus on detail shots of the scenery (i.e. material textures, etc):Ahh another Neiteio screenshot thread. I love it. Would love to see more of your pics from the story mode, there's some incredible locations and vistas, and like your BoTW gurrudo thread, you tell a nice story with your shots!
I've got a few of these! Everything feels really well detailed so I'm loving being able to snap pictures so easily. *o* I love Judd Jr.
(Also showing off my fave ingame shirt haha.)
Huh, I honestly expected Callie and Marie to be taller than the teen inklings.
Celebrities are usually shorter than you think!Huh, I honestly expected Callie and Marie to be taller than the teen inklings.
.....I really don't know how I feel about this poster. The clothing, the pose, the face.
