soultron is a super-fan that happened to be invited to visit EA to see the game. A lot of SSX fans from the merqurycity.com message boards were lucky enough to be invited. I'm TKEON230 over there.

well with todays ssx ubercast I didnt realize the fan made boards were shown (facebook). I like the Mirrors Edge one.
That is awesome. Are we going to be able to make custom boards like that in-game?

I tried playing SSX3 yesterday, doesn't hold up as well graphically as you'd think after wallowing in nostalgic youtube videos. Looking forward to this.
Did SSX3 and Burnout: Takedown release quite close to eachother? I remember that as my golden days of gaming, with a bit of Pro Evo, GTA and Jak thrown in.

I'm not really sure because I thought Eddie was just an "unlock" character for pre-ordering. Which would mean that you'd just need to play the game to unlock him if you didn't pre-prder the game. But Gamestop is saying that he's exclusive.

My wife and I are very excited for this.
Looks awesome. Nice to see that they've smoothed out the whole landscape changing thing as well.
Funny how this game got a ton of buzz here back when it had the grim direction that everyone hated. But now they've turned things around hardly anyone talks about the game.

Strange, the Tricky song sounds even more intrusive than the SSX Tricky version of it, yet they said they were going to scale it back. Maybe they meant it is exclusive to Trick It? And STILL Alpha? :S

Just ask my friend if he can get his cousin to get this for me (she works for EA).
Though I'll probably be slammed with Tales, FFXIII-2 and more Tales... I will make room for this game just before jumping into ME3. I'm looking forward to just free-riding an Untracked level again - so damn relaxing.

Very much so. I'm no skater, BMXer or whatever, but I enjoyed those games on the PS2... there was something about them, they were just very fun to play.
