Stellar Blade launches tomorrow, and that’s just the beginning of Eve’s mission to save humanity one slice at a time. Today we at Shift Up are excited to reveal that New Game Plus will be coming to Stellar Blade at launch on April 26, so players can continue their journey across Xion after the credits roll. The new mode included expanded gear levels, new costumes to wear, and a suite of new skills.

Before we dive into the New Game Plus details, let’s take a look at the Stellar Blade launch trailer showing off the exhilarating sci-fi melee combat that awaits.

New Game Plus details revealed​

Alright, let’s dig into what players can look forward to after finishing Stellar Blade the first time.

Expanded wardrobe​

In our upcoming New Game Plus, you can acquire new costumes and accessories for Eve, as well as additional costumes for Adam, Lily, and the Drone.

You can try re-opening the chests where you previously got your costumes or revisit the shops that sell them. You may also want to replay quests to earn costumes you missed on your first playthrough.

There are a whopping 34 new outfits for Eve to earn in New Game Plus, including five accessories, and two cosmetics each for Adam, Lily, and the Drone.

I’m particularly fond of the Crew Style outfit.

The Crew Style is only available in the New Game Plus chest, so keep your eyes peeled for it.

Level expansions for Eve’s Gear​

Level expansion for Weapon, Body Core, Beta Core and Tumbler:

• Weapon – 15 -> 40
• Body – 6 -> 9
• Beta – 6 -> 9
• Tumbler – 5 -> 13
• Remaining cores could be sold at SP0-tt2r’s shop to acquire Vitcoin, which could be used to purchase new costume items.

Players who have seen the ending of the game can challenge themselves on harder difficulties. To fight tougher enemies, Eve will also need to get stronger.

In New Game Plus, in addition to continuing your progression, you’ll be able to collect Cores to power up Eve’s weapons, HP, and Beta Energy even more than in the base game.

You can also further enhance your Tumbler, increasing the amount of HP it heals at once.

You can also upgrade your Drone to increase the power of your ranged attacks.

After you’ve completed all of your upgrades, you can sell the Core items you earn to SP0-tt2r to purchase new costumes.

New skills​

In New Game Plus, you’ll be able to earn Infinite skills that are enhancements to existing Beta Skills.

• 4 new Beta skill moves
• 8 new skills to enhance Beta/Burst skills
• 5 new Drone skills

Beta Skill: Infinite Slash

Infinite Pierce, an enhancement to Quadruplet, lets you unleash a devastating blow to enemies.

Beta Skill: Infinite Pierce

Or you can shred the enemy’s shields with Infinite Breaker.

Beta Skill: Infinite Breaker

Not only Beta Skills can be enhanced, but Burst Skills as well, so defeat the enemies and earn SP (Skill Points) to unlock them all.


New Game Plus Skill Tree

Other New Game Plus changes​

Eve’s gears and Exospine will also receive new enhancements.

These Mk2 enhancements to existing gear will allow players to personalize their approach to the game.

Why not boost your attack speed to corner your enemies with attacks, or convert the damage you take into Beta Energy and send it back at them?

You can also enhance your shield penetration to ignore enemy shields.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by stronger enemies, we recommend collecting and combining Mk2 gear.

Also, in keeping with Eve’s evolution, enemies on harder difficulties are stronger.

Enemies may also be repositioned in New Game Plus, so keep your guard up!

Aparantly some outfits got indeed censored in the day 1 patch. Its not 2 diferent outfits or variations. Guess now i know i have to turn off the console internet to play the v.1.0

Hope ppl make enough noise for Shift Up to fix this. Getting Nikke vibes where they censor outfits, ppl call them out then they uncensor the outfits again. Hope they uncensor them here too cuz the censored version are not even well done, you can clearly see the extended fabric dosent even match the original outfit color.

The subreddit is saying this is bullshit too. We literally just went through this with Tifa's swimsuit in Rebirth before that game released. People trying to rile people up. But if you want to confirm knock yourself out. I'm just saying this is likely a troll.

The thing is i saw Shift Up do this multiple times with Nikke, where they use 2 versions of the same outfit, the uncensored for the game, and a censored version for comercial ads, but sometimes they put the censored version in the game after leaking how the outfit/character will look like, and ppl notice the diferences and call them out on twitter and they end up patching the uncensored version back in the game.

Ofc, when thers censorship its alays the publishers fault. Shift Up dont gain nothing by censoring anything they create. The good news is that in Nikke case they always end up releasing the uncensored version after ppl calls them out, so i hope they do the same with Stellar Blade, cuz i would rather play the NG+ with the uncensored outfits.

So i have been playing for like 1,5h now haven't played the demo and i love it. Will play version 1.0 from disc seems completely bug free so far and polished fuck censorship of any kind. Thats why physical media will always be better.
