Why not? I think it's Tomb Raider, and I'd never buy it on Wii U, so I don't think it by some desire to buy it.I don't think it is Tomb Raider. People just want it to be. Keep those fingers crossed.

What recent Square Enix game runs on Unreal Engine 3? I guess since they are working on Mass Effect 3 for Wii U they would give them a game that runs on the same engine.
Yay, more ports.
The next Deus Ex, Thief and Soul Reaver are all going to be Orbis/Durango I would imagine, and they won't be out next year.Deus Ex HR 2?
Dungeon Siege 4?
Supreme Commander 3?
Blood Omen 3?
Kayne & Lynch 3?
I can't guess what it is but probably not Tomb Raider. Guys making that game once said that system does not fit for that game, iirc.
Versus 13, you know it
It would if anyone in Japan actually cared about the XIII series.FINAL FANTASY 13 trilogy makes lots of sense for the Wii u in 2013.
It would be gangbusters in japan would it not?
At this point it's pretty much Motomu Toriyama's vanity project, isn't it?It would if anyone in Japan actually cared about the XIII series.

Didn't they say it was because they were focusing only on the PS360PCMAC versions and
there was no time for a Wii U version?
Cosidering Wii got the latest entries, I don't see how the game does not fit the system lol
If we started building a game [Tomb Raider] for the Wii U we would build it very differently and we would build it with unique functionality. When we started developing the game we made a conscious decision that it was all about building the game for a platform and making sure the game was specific to that platform.Given that we’ve been working on the game quite a while before Wii U was announced I think it would not be right to try and port it across.
Um, there are no plans right now. We’re pretty focused on our three platforms. That’s not to say if some day, somebody higher up – such as our head of studio – decided it was a good thing then we’d look at it, but it’d have to be built from the ground up for that platform to make sure it felt worthy of it. We’re not into just porting things across. Certainly, as of right now, there are no plans to do anything.

Crystal Dynamics Global Brand Manager Karl Stewart's statement:
Oh I see, thanks for the quotes.
Still, money speaks louder and the brand manager said "right now" so there's still a chance
it's rather vague if 2013 refers to the port or the big game in general;"We've made a few bets on Wii U actually so we're certainly hoping it does well. In addition to ME3 we have an original Wii U title in development, and we've started on another big game in a well known franchise that will be released in 2013." - CEO Tom Crago
From go nintendo.
Presumably Tomb Raider then unless it's a late port.
I am not sure if anyone at Bioware begged EA to port ME3 to Wii U either.Crystal Dynamics Community Manager Meagan Marie's statement:

Last Remnant!!
(... or DQX, lol)
Everything you posted seems to be if Crystal Dynamics themselves ported it to Wii U. Seems to me SE just throwing it at another company would be the one way we'd get it on Wii U.Yeah, it's a possibility. Still, I don't think the port will be of Tomb Raider. I'm guessing it probably won't be a port of an upcoming game. By the way, that quote from Karl Stewart was like from August.
I'd say the odds are pretty good for Lightning Returns on Wii U, but I doubt that a Western studio would be handling the porting.
It's obviously Versus XIII.
Yay, more ports.
It's going to be:
With FFXIII-2 also packaged in with it.
Yay, more ports.
Saturn VC games through Straight Right confirmed!?
Actually....ya, it's still a port to me, but if its a good game I'm all for it....although its not really/necessarily a new experience....They arent "ports" to people who dont own or care to own xbox360 or PS3.
