I don't know about those images that have gone up on the site, they appear to have dropped the art style found in the E3 CGI Reveal. Seems way more "realistic"

Insomniacs! Can you tell me how closely I should expect the real game to follow that CG trailer? In terms of general looks, style, and gameplay?

Throw us a bone here!

Nah, maybe you should re-watch the trailer. They're still stylized, but not to the point of being cartoony.

So what is this game? I'm really getting tired of companies leading with the general idea of how a game looks, but not the gameplay. How can I really get excited if I have no idea what this game is going to deliver? This is where I think some kickstarters have had a lot of success: They have to be more upfront with what the style of gameplay is, or at least give us some idea of a comparison with an existing game. As a result it's way easier to go "oh yeah, I think I'll like that!"

Going by the original trailer, my only guess would be some kind of co-op Dead Rising type deal.

We'll find out in 3 days, it seems like there will be a media blowout following, so if they're planning a release September, they're releasing info at the right time. We have a basic idea of gameplay - it's an open world shooter with an obvious focus on mobility and cloud support.

Third person open world shooter with parkour, ziplines, monsters, and guns with some type of contraction attached to them that turns a can of Overcharge into a special alt-fire.
