The main thing I disagree with is what he was saying about Sakurai. It's pretty clear Sakurai is designing this game with competitive players at least partly in mind. I mean he separated all of the transforming characters and got rid of such a unique/brilliant concept as Pokemon Trainer purely for the competitive community. He got rid of some random elements that PM didn't even get rid of like Dedede's side special. And he overall added a lot of small touches.

I'd blame loading times before anything else.

I remembered everyone love Brawl Demo. When they finally release final version of Brawl, it was just somewhat opposite from what people found in Demo.

You cant gimp a character's jumping and recovery to such a degree in a game that requires jumping in order to not die.

Little Mac is clearly a specialist character. Early on, he will wreck as people won't know how to deal with him, but overtime they will know what specific strategy to utilize to bring him down. I think some people will be extremely good with him, but he's not as versatile as everyone else.

Did anyone else have a low tier main in Brawl? I mained Luigi. I think I did pretty well considering his weaknesses. I loved his side smash, it was so satisfying to land and it could crush opponents when they least expected it.

I could see Mac being useful in doubles for finishing characters off.

I had a lot of fun playing as Rosalina today, even though it was only once. Being able to play as one of my favorite characters from Mario in Smash brought a smile to my face that never left.

Little Mac and Megaman were the stars of the event, and people went crazy over Mac's KO move. I also saw the Chain Chomp Assist Trophy, which amused everyone. Prior to playing, I engaged in good conversations with fans around me. It was a great time.

She's also a bit on the sluttish side for Smash. While that certainly can be toned down, there's a fine line in toning down her nature while maintaining who Bayonetta is.

Don't get me wrong, I love Modern Sonic in Smash too. But seeing as Mega Man is based off the NES design and we've got the iconic Pac-Man design instead of Ghostly Adventures, including Classic Sonic would just push that "childhood dream" roster over the top for me.

Would peach be considered low tier? Wasn't amazing like melee but wasn't horrible?

I sometimes used Luigi and Ness. Plan on continuing the tradition in Smash 4!

Yeah me and a couple friends noticed in the 3DS demo that when you pivot now not only can you easily do a smash attack, you can now pivot tilts...which is interesting. I kinda call it the "autopivot" because of easily it can be executed even the 3DS' circle pad.

The two characters I played in vanilla Brawl were Metaknight and Samus. :-\

That's not necessarily true -- some assists are rarer than others. I think we've only seen Genesect once, for example. It just seems weird to me that a handful of members with years-old accounts (with no history of interacting with each other) would collude together over something as random and insignificant as... Chunky Kong.
