Been gone a few hours.
What's been happening?
yeah I know right
let's give lucas/ice climbers/wolf fans along those who want metal gear/rhythm heaven content in the game false hope just to expose those dirty no-good fakers for maybe three weeks
great idea
I mean, granted, it's Smashboards, but still
A Smashboards mod's claiming the original leaker made up the DLC thing.
Granted, it's Smashboards, so take it with a wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide grain of salt
This is the thread I was thinking of in my last post

Is this pic new?
From Nintendo's facebook page today, don't remember seeing it but I never remember everything from those huge screenshot dumps.
If you look hard into the crowd and cross your eyes you can see K. Rool fist bumping Ridley.
I was MIA today, but sad there hasn't been a lot of progress made on the leak. Any legitimacy to the Smashboards claims about the leak?

Wait, so they're now claiming everything but the DLC was true?Nah.
We're really just discussing how bogus it may be and how lame so of those guys are taking people on a feels trip talking about how the DLC leak was not true,
They "verified" it through whatever arcane means they consider verification. So basically there's no legitimacy to it, unless you trust them already, which I don't think anyone here does.I was MIA today, but sad there hasn't been a lot of progress made on the leak. This is just off to the side.

Interesting. Well, if the original leaker claimed the DLC stuff, I'm inclined to believe that still. Would be a shame without it.Apparently...which makes me sad for the actual leak it self.

I'm sort of anticipating one next week; I'm sure I will be disappointed.can we just get a Nintendo Direct this week to put the leak debate to rest
been ages since the last one (not counting Hyrule Warriors)
Okay, so you seem to be pretty vocal on the side of Team Fake. Are you already in any avatar bets? This is a joke. I feel sorry for those who believe this so called "leak".

Well obviously the SmashBoards part is fake, but that doesn't mean the whole thing is. SmashBoards is just crazy. Not right now, but I'll gladly bet this falsified shit is fake.
Guy gets photos, "edits" them for 50 hours, uploads them at a VERY precise time coinciding with other leaks. Soon reveals the DLC part is fake.
Screams fake all over to me.
I don't get the Smashboards thing. I mean, I get what's going on, I don't get why the supposed 4Chan leaker would include BS to "sniff out fakes". What does that even mean? He would probably know what leaks are/aren't fake anyways with the info he was given, right?

Wait...what? I'm sorry, I'm sure you've explained this before, but what exactly happened?Yeah, I don't know why he'd be particularly concerned with calling out fakers.

Exactly lol. Which is why until someone on Smash boards posts a complete "how-to" video on how they either made the leak or got the information, just ignore them completely. That's obviously not the real leaker.Basically the leaker stated he added the DLC info himself and that it was fake and only to "sniff out" other leakers, which makes zero fucking sense. ]

Also, Ridley leaked:

Oooh...kay. This is all very silly. So, basically, Smashboards is saying this guy is the leaker, which is probably not true whether the leaks are fake or not. Got it.I was referring to this:

Who is the supposed "MOTHERFUCKING LEAKER," verified by the Smashboards mods.
1. Nobody's really saying that, most people are focusing on the new Tomodochi Life roomAlso, why is everybody saying that Brinstar on the leak makes the leak real?
The leak emerged like, 12 hours Brinstar was shown on 3DS, plenty of time to photoshop it in.
Also, notice the lack of new stages? Stages are harder to fake than character icons!
Who's to say they didn't use a lot of old stages for the 3DS?Also, why is everybody saying that Brinstar on the leak makes the leak real?

It's not very low quality or messy, or at least not any more so than what we saw at the demo. It's consistent with the demo. Once again, a post like this doesn't really offer a compelling argument, as the same could be said about an official version of the game (the demo).Even if they did, they'd definitely not be as messy as they are on the CSS, and the image quality should be way better. Some stages are so low-qual that it's near impossible for me to tell what's what.
Of course, "off screen at a stupid angle" camera work is at play here.

Nobody else has had that problem, so I think the problem might be on your end. Once I again, I think it's quite likely you'd here these same complaints if the demo character/stage select screen was shown to you a few months ago. "Why is it so ugly? Sakurai wouldn't make it look so bland, especially with how dynamic the WiiU version looks!"Wut. Some icons are too dark to tell what the stages are. I cannot identify around 4 stages here at all.
It's shoddy work, really.
Well as it so happens, I'm not in any avatar bets either. Just how confident are you? How much are you willing to stake? Not right now, but I'll gladly bet this falsified shit is fake.
I've never played a Smash Bros. game before.
What is this series like for someone who has only ever played fighting games casually, the rare times he has played them?
Do I have to be a fan of fighting games to enjoy this series? To be perfectly frank, I find the FGC to be way too hardcore for my liking. I just wonder how Smash factors into that.
I have a 3DS XL and I was considering a purchase. Not sure if this should be a reason to dust off old Red or not.
