These are not the Oscars, but they can help predict them. Here is the schedule for every other awards show left this year:

88th Academy Awards Nominations Announced - January 14
21st Critics' Choice Awards - January 17
22nd Annual SAG Awards - January 30
88th Annual Academy Awards - February 28

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
The Best Drama Series category is a mess this year.

It would be fantastic if Mad Max won but we all know its going to Spotlight.

I still don't really get why Martian or Joy are in best comedy. Ok I know why, but its lame that its allowed.

Hope Idris wins, Beasts was pretty awesome and he was amazing in it.

Oh man I've been waiting for this :)
Not for the awards, but for Ricky. Brilliant host.

Does anyone know if it is possible to watch the whole show after it has aired, if you live outside of the US?

Was Lady Gaga really that good in AH:H to warrant a Golden Globe nob? Im just asking because Ive never seen it.

World's #1 One Direction Fan: Everyone else in the room can see it, everyone else but you~~~
Come thru Gaga

Big short for the Comedy categories
George Miller for director, Spotlight for best film (although I've only seen Mad Max and Spotlight so far)

Viola Davis better win her catergory and Veep better sweep theirs
Ludicrous that How To Get Away With Murder didn't get a Drama nod. Miles better than Empire has been this season

Surprised making a murderer didn't get nominated for mini-series. Unless they classify it is a documentary normal tv series and therefore would not fit in any catagories.

I guess they didnt send preview copies to the voters. It came out on Netflix December 18th whilst ballot nominations had to be in by December 7th
Next year probably for sure

My predictions. I opted to not speculate on some of the categories as I know nothing about them, compared to next to nothing of the others. Not a big movie/TV guy but I love predicting and watching the award shows.

Is currently staging a hunger strike outside Gearbox HQ while trying to hate them to death
I usually don't give 2 shits about awards, but Mad Max was one of the most entertaining and visually stunning films I have ever seen. Hope it wins everything it's nominated for.

Is the 6pm just the time that the Red Carpet starts or is it actually being shown somewhere?

But for those who can’t tune into the star-studded ceremony on TV, NBC will host a live stream of the event, which you can watch here, at 8 p.m. EST Sunday. All you need to do is sign in with the account linked to your TV provider to watch the ceremony online for free.

Tonight will be a good night.

Btw, E! will be streaming their red carpet special on their website. Starts at 6 EST.

Both Sicario and Straight out of Compton deserve to be somewhere in the nominees but they arent anywhere. I think they will represent at the Oscars though. At least Sicario seems like a sure fit.
