Read the thread, it doesn't seem well liked here.
Obviously was speaking in hyperbole, just commenting as this is the 2nd best of 2015 list I've seen the game show up in.

It's not in my personal top 25 of what I've played and I haven't even touched some "greats" like Witcher, Fallout, RoTR, Life is Strange yet

Played 9 of those. Pretty good list. Nailed the top spot, Bloodborne is game of the generation for me so far. Undertale needs to be higher in my opinion, but glad it's on there.

Splatoon it's been on pretty much all lists of best games of the year so far. That game has been nothing but a smashing success in terms of everything. So happy about that. Game of course is totally awesome and addictive.

Great list, seems MH4U has been kinda forgotten due to it being released in Q1, nice to see it on there. Easily my most played game of the year along with Bloodborne.

As an Englishman I don't recognize The Guardian as a fair journalism media outlet.

I don't disagree with this list (it's only someones opinion anyway), but The Guardian are known for pushing agenda instead of fairly covering the news. They'll spin press releases where they should be asking questions to those that put out such things.
I disagree. All newspapers do that, and the Guardian is generally regarded as being one of the better UK ones. It wears it's left wing bias on its sleeve but compared to the utterly destructive venom, sloppy journalism and xenophobia of the Mail etc, it's in a different league. At least they run a regular corrections column and have an editor dedicated to investigating reader complaints.

On topic, great to see Monster Hunter in the top five, GOTY for me.

Is this the "random top game list of the year" thread?
