I hope we get to kill what ever tore out the guardian's wings as the last boss.

It fits so well and it's so beautiful - do you think there's a chance they could keep it? Edit: The more I think about it - they probably just use it as trailer material - still it fits so beautifully and I wouldn't want to miss it.

My eyes are tearing up. This is simply too much. Fuck every other game, they're nothing more than over produced empty shells of wasted time. This is a video game.Holtz said:http://i39.tinypic.com/16iz9c4.jpg
Glorious. Simply glorious.

Lots of movies for example, use entirely different music in their trailers than what's used in the released movie. I'm sure the music here is just to convey that trailer atmosphere, just as you said. If the game is going for the kind of atmosphere seen in Ico, the sweeping score like this probably won't have much place during the game anyways. In Ico, there was music at the beginning and the end of the game, and during the game atmospheric sounds of nature.El-Suave said:Miller's Crossing theme won't be in the game even though it's still in the trailer I guess? For sure in-game. They use various cinematic camera angles in their games, not just during cutscenes, but during gameplay as well. This looked like 100% realtime footage for sure, and you can expect to be able to climb up on the beast, jump from it etc. just like shown in the trailer - as they had similar mechanics in their previous games.wouwie said:Just wondering (since i never played a team ico game before): is this 100% ingame footage? Let's keep looking for one that doesn't hurt my ears.sentry65 said:new trailer if it hasn't been posted already

The hairless ears maybe looked better in the old footage. Or maybe if the creature really grows during the game, it starts off with hairless ears, and less feathers early on, who knows.eso76 said:i should say i liked the look of the cat thing better in the leaked footage; simplier, more streamlined, less rat like.
Other than that...there's no other developer like Ueda. His games are the closest we ever got to "Miyazaki in the videogame industry". Holy shit, this is so beautiful.
Looks like Ico/Yorda kind of stylized shader is used on him, all for the better. He looked very awkward in the old trailer.Issun23 said:The boy looks a bit like Yorda. Has a certain glow like her.

You know why I think its so emotional, at least for me, is because the face of the beast is almost cat like. It reminds me a great deal of my own cat and the thought of something happening to something I cared deeply for is...difficult.
SolidSnakex said:I still think that the boy could be the one that bites it. Which would leave the creature alone in that world.

the cat thing and the boy climb up into what they think is the land of everlasting happiness, but is actually just the map for SotC...Wander jumps out and kills the cat thing.
