$50 USD? So when this game makes its way to Australia it will be around the $80.00 mark... no thanks, I'll play my Gamecube version Nintendo.
Have the screenshots been discussed yet? More items can be selected, this REALLY sweetens the gameplay department and I can't wait for this game!
Pre-ordered btw.
I don't know, looks from those screens that only 3 buttons can have items set to them. Same as in the GC version (X, Y, Z), unless I'm missing something.
$50 for one HD remake
"Yeah, but they put so much work into it"
Still not 60FPS
"BU BU BU-... ORIGINAL ANIMATIONS!"
on the other side of the screen there is a d-pad that also looks like you can set items
Cinematic.Wait, it's not 60FPS? That's weird... Why?
He wasn't listing 'new features,' and how often do HD Collections do more than bump up the resolution?
While the enthusiasts may find this to be a good deal, it's a pretty poor mass market price for a 'new paint job' for a game that likely cost very little to (re)make. Low budget game with a steep price, on a console struggling to gain traction, no less. I fail to see the "win" in that.
However...
If that Wind Waker bundle is true(I haven't followed recently), then I see where Nintendo may be going with this. A high price on the stand-alone game automatically makes the bundle much more attractive.

Reduced price was not the only thing updated on amazon, here is what the game description says:
Get this mode available from the start and big fans will respond Nintendo.
From the other WW thread:
The price got reduced? I'm still seeing $50.
I agree it should be lower ($30-$40), but it will still sell at that price. There are generations of Zelda gamers now who started with Twilight Princess, the DS titles or Skyward Sword. This will be brand new to them.Lol wow, I had no idea it would be priced that high. Team ICO Collection was $40 at launch, iirc.
Guess ill be waiting on a deal for this one...
Yea paying 40$ retail for SH collection the 50$ for this seems more than worth it.
I know lolExcept the SH collection was a broken nearly unplayable mess that was an insult to the series that cheesed off so many players that Konami had to offer them consolation games admitting that the SH collection was a mistake.
Dat nopedat price
Anyone here bothered by the use of "dat" on GAF?
I own five on my ps3 and they still look like ps2 games albeit with a higher resolution this looks like a wii u game not an old game ported and coded over
Aren't most HD remakes over $30 during the PS360 generation compilations of several games? This is just the one game.

I'm sure the die-hards will end up buying this game. OoT 3DS was overpriced as well and that ended up selling systems. In my opinion, i think its $20 too much. From what i remember, Wind Waker was sold at $50 and you were given a Free disc of Ocarina Master Quest. Now that was a deal!!!.
It will only be arrogant if people don't buy it. If it sells at $50 then they set the right price.I got Halo CE Anniversary (which is a remake, not a remaster) for 20 euros, NEW.
Nothing justifies the price, Nintendo is showing once more how arrogant they can be.
OOT 3D and Starfox 64 3D got released at full price. This is not surprising to me. I always expected it to be around this price

OoT wasn't overpriced. New textures, 3D (or AA is you turn it off), plus Master Quest for everyone who didn't preorder WW 10 years ago. Seriously, go look at OG OoT screens and compare with the 3D version.
OoT 3D is up there with REmake, imo.
