You got me. I thought this was real

Thank you, sir. When I saw the "open world" description, I rolled my eyes. Better to say it's going to be a normal or old school Zelda game.
If people want to credit Skyrim, or even if Aonuma does, whatever. To me this is just Zelda being Zelda.

what a day to be a zelda fan!
Yeah, I also think that Link is female. And, just for the record, I have nothing against that. Not in the least. (In turn Princess Zelda needs to be male. I'm kinda inflexible in my pairings.)
Aaaanyway.
I think they've found an artstyle that will remain pretty timeless. Looks pretty nice. Looking forward to more info and footage.
What I wanted.
What I got.
*sigh*
Once again, I mean, come on. Observe the posture and smaller torso compared to the legs. It's SO a girl.
Can't wait!

I don't care about the graphics. Just make the game faster. Give me a ALBW in 3D. Start fast and action, action, action.
No more relying on fetch quests, either.
My thoughts exactly. Was really waiting for the final game to actually look like the tech demo. But i can't complain, it's Zelda, it's finally coming, and art style aside, still looks really good.
Works for me!
this is honestly the worst art style for Zelda ever.
Throw the tablet controller to the garbage bin and give me Zelda bundle with price tag of 199 and I am on board.
Meh. I don't want a front-loaded full dungeon tutorial but I like the more adventuring elements in Zelda like Majora's Mask. I like that 3D Zelda isn't all action.I don't care about the graphics. Just make the game faster. Give me a ALBW in 3D. Start fast and action, action, action.

Welcome to Boring McBrownsville. Population: You.
Thank God.
Nintendo has faked us out 3 times now. Teasing a realistic Zelda, and going the other way with a cel shaded look. Did it with Wind Waker and kind of again for Skyward Sword. This new style looks absolutely GORGEOUS. I have no doubt it will look absolutely incredible. It already seems to rival and surpass many next gen games. But I still wanted to see the e3 2011 Tech Demo style. That could have been amazing as well. And I feel like that art style would have made the game a much bigger seller on Wii U than the current one.

Agree 100%.Miyamoto always said that he wants Link to be a rather anonymous character into which the player can project him/herself. Hence Link's silence. It would make a ton of sense to let the player chose between a male and a female Link. Would be a great idea.
WOW different from what I was expecting but awesome! I cannot wait until we get some more info about it.
You are able to travel to where ever you see, even the mountains in the distance. Particle, and fire effects were absolutely stunning.

They should have really went with a Mii in place of Link to piss everybody off just to be fair.
Damn isn't she cute?
Why does Link jump off the horse to shoot the thing? Kinda pointless, dude. Like some showboat crap Legolas would do.

made a wallpaper for those interested, 1080p with a Basic Logo.

I think you should be excited after ALBW, assuming the emphasis on nonlinear exploration and minimal exposition/handholding continues.Woooow
god damn wow. I dunno if I should get excited after Skyward Sword and the two DS games, but once again I'm on the hype train
