Next project! Perfect X-Wing companion piece!
Dude, it was $41 free shipping on Amazon as of yesterday, but it's at full price now.God damn it, stop it! I have already looked at the LEGO site 20 times, and am not planning on visiting Target on the way home to compare prices and see if I can save on shipping! This is not fair!

Yeah I don't expect the TIE Fighter to be as much fun as the X-Wing was.Finished the Tie Fighter. Looks nice, but I don't know, something's missing and I can't quite place it. Hope the XWing is a bit more fun to build.
If I were you, or if I didn't already buy it, I would put it in my amazon cart and not think about buying it unless the priced dropped again. I can't bring myself to pay $60 when I know it was $20 less a day ago. You're not helping!

That part does NOT disappoint.I'm getting a Jek Porkins mini-fig, I don't see how it could be a let down.
I'm getting a Will Smith mini-fig with the X-Wing, I don't see how it could be a let down.
And so it begins.
My first ever Lego sets. When I was a kid, I only had loose bricks to play with, never got full sets. I found the Falcon and Police station for 50% off today at Walmart, which is apparently a very YMMV deal. They were impulse purchases, I'll sleep on it and see whether I'll want to return them once the rush has worn off.
Is Tower Bridge the biggest set (by pieces) currently available?

It's also amazing and should be your next purchase :3
I thought that version of the Shuttle is out of print for awhile. Is it available again?
Thinking of picking up a set tomorrow. Cant decide on which one, the Tower Bridge, Imperial Shuttle, one of the modulars, or mini modulars.
I'm kind of glad I'm not a fan of Star Wars. Saves me a bundle.

Why doesn't the TIE come with a TIE pilot? It looks like the minifigs are an Imperial Officer and a security guard plus an astromech.
Wait, Wal-Mart 50% off sale? What are the details about this?
Ah, just looked it up on the LEGO site.It does come with one. You get 4 Minifigs. TerryLee81 likely has him in the cockpit.
Yup, I've posted this a bunch of times in this thread already. Star Wars sets just have zero impact on me. And it's not even price - I'd easily spend $400 on a set (Lego addict wooo), but not on a theme I have zero interest in. Tower Bridge was such a simple purchase for me because of how gorgeous the set is. While the SSD is a beautiful model, it's just not my kind of theme.
I'm middling on star wars, but I guess I just love nice spaceships. Don't give a shit about the SSD, looks a bit plain. But the x-wing, tie fighter, imperial shuttle, falcon, star destroyer and venator (precursor to star destroyer) are just fantastic ships
A severely ymmv clearance deal. I've gone to three different walmarts and found nothing. One store even had far more shelf space dedicated to mega blocks halo shit than Lego.Wait, Wal-Mart 50% off sale? What are the details about this?
Every store does their own individual sales for Lego. All you can do is go check it out. If they have a scanner, you can just start checking prices, otherwise, they'll have marked down sets in the aisle. They also do NOT match their online prices (discovered this the hard way).
