I like the changes to the skill tree but the actual combat changes feel superficial at best.
Anyone have the link to the latest version of this?
It's available at The Witcher Nexus. You'll need to register an account to download it, though.
That would be swell if they released witcher 2 digitally on ps4 this year to get ready for witcher 3
Choices carry over would be great
"Wed love to publish all Witcher games on the PlayStation but we have limited capabilities since were currently working on The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077," Tomaszkiewicz explained. "For now, were not planning on porting The Witcher 1 and 2 to the PlayStation. However, dont worry--if youre afraid that you wont be able to play The Witcher 3 without knowing the plot of the first two games, its not the case."
Might install this again and replay W2, can anyone confirm if the glitch where the head wouldn't render on Silvia DeTanzertits has been fixed?

I played a few hours with this mod and I think I'm going to just do a regular play through. Sometimes enemies just stand there and do nothing until I attack them first. Also I don't like Geralt's pirouette instead of rolling ... there's no way to know what battles he's going to do it in and it always throws me off and looks kinda weird.
Also I might be wrong on this but the game seems easier ... spells seem to do more damage and same with side weapons like bombs/daggers.
They nerfed the everloving shit out of the difficulty for the console release/directors cut.
I am on chapter V of The Witcher 1, and after that I'll play The Witcher 2. Do you guys think this mod is worth it for the first and probably only playthrough?
Personally I think it's better to save it for a second playthorugh. It completely changes the skill tree, along with a lot of other game mechanics. I also ran into some bugs, but YMMV. I enjoyed the vanilla game plenty.
I wonder if they're gearing up for a next gen console rerelease with this. Seems like a lot of effort if they're not doing something else major with it.
From a guy who only played Witcher 2 for only 20 minutes, does the mod actually makes combat more enjoyable?
From memory I don't think this is a bug but the difficulty level you are playing on.I'm in the florest now and I'm liking the mod. Problem is, I just noticed a game breaking bug. I can't distribute my skills for some reason, and I'm already at level 5
You have to allocate six points into the "training" tree before you can unlock the other three.I'm in the florest now and I'm liking the mod. Problem is, I just noticed a game breaking bug. I can't distribute my skills for some reason, and I'm already at level 5
Question... what videocard is needed for 1080p60fps at max settings for Witcher 2? With a i3 processor.

So I finally decided to get the game in anticipation of the Witcher 3 (I still have plenty of time until then)
As many of you, I have very little free time to play, so I don't want to spend most of my time replaying sections, cutscenes, or enduring few checkpoints or the like.
I don't want to have an auto-win either, just good enough difficulty, I don't want a challenge from a (supposedly ) long game.
So, does this mod make things harder? easier? And what difficulty would be good? Is normal balanced enough? Or are enemies a hit-sponge?
I've read from some of you that the combat drags too long and that it is boring, so I wonder if an easier difficulty is just too easy?
Thanks for the advice!
It seems I can't get the kayran diagram in act 1 with this mod installed? I beat the beast and didn't earn it from the reward guy, nor can I boy it from the blacksmith.
It's too bad, because this is my second playthrough. I din't get the achievement the first time around and I was hoping to get it now...
What diagram? You mean for the armor? Yeah, not sure about that one, but they shifted around a lot of equipment for balance purposes. Many things were either moved to other vendors or removed entirely.
So I implemented this mod in the middle of Act 1 play-through. My level-up bar in the HUD is borked, access to the character trees is locked and I can't defend with my sword anymore (he only does the quen thing). What the fuck?
The Quen thing is part of the mod, Geralt does it instead of blocking. Other two sound like issues however.

You only get access to the character trees after reaching level 6. The first tree is already auto unlocked with this mod.
