I'm getting the Wii until January, so it's a fact I'm gonna know the game's plot (at least the general idea) before I even get my hands on a Wii. After having accepted that, it's easier to just let the spoilers flow without no regrets :lol
On the other hand, if I was getting the Wii on launch day I swear I would be playing Okami right now avoiding the internet at all costs ^^

I think...
That it's Zelda's twilight form, or at least some form of Zelda. Even the positioning of the characters(Zelda and this other one) seem to indicate that they hold relevance to each other).

No seriously, I bet it's an alternate reality type thing. Where Midna = alternate evil Zelda and Link = alternate evil link (the twilight king), but two entities can't exist in the same dimension at the same time, so reality tries to correct itself and one version ends up getting transformed into something else, say it's chosen based on the weaker version. Here, Link and Midna are the weaker versions, so they get turned into wolf and ... ... some... cat monkey thing. Midna's either teaming up with Link in an "enemy of my enemy" type deal or to trick you into getting her Zelda's power followed by betrayal, then it's Zelda who becomes the cat monkey thing.

Interesting theory.

That would actually explain the whole 3 Shadow link cut scene and also would make the whole Link dies at the end theory possible

I still don't understand why there would be 3 Shadow Links. I can understand 1 being him and one being the Twilight King, but who's the other one?

It's a nice theory, but I really don't think there would be something that deep in a Zelda game.

I never played Twilight Princess but I have a theory about Ocarina of Time ending.

When link returns to the past the adult link timeline is erased but Ganondorf get the form to enter into the temple of time where he is trapped in the Twilight, this makes the difference about the most noble Ganondorf of Wind Waker and the evil one of Ocarina of Time.

I heard that TSA liked the ending of TP very much... and he said "some people will dislike the ending". I remember TSA wanted a bad ending for TP since 2004....

I really dislike bad ending when people die for example. I'm very sad about that idea because i don't play fantasy games to be sad at the very end...


i know it's silly :lol

they got videos of the Gamecube version. first time we've seen anything new of the Gamecube version in a LONG time.

for those having trouble figuring out how to get to the videos

(to see the Gamecube videos):

press Enter
wait for the hearts to load
goto the icon on the lower left and let the cursor sit there until two sub-choices appear
the lower one says Wii, the upper choice is in Japanese but it's for Gamecube
select the series of video you want
select the arrow of the specific video you want
click the 1.5 inch long horizontal icon (=======) to load the video
wait for it to load and play.

that gif irritates me. I don't like the bouncy feel I get from Link... His cheeks look fat, his tongue also looks blob-ish... and the wolf transformation has an odd bounce as well... :\ :\ :\

the good thing is that the escort isn't relying on your movements and an AI pathfinder. It's a pre-determined path, so there won't be any annoying pathfinding problems. Those are usually the worst part of escorts.

Ace Combat 5 comes to mind for me...

BTW, Gametrailers video preview of TP is brilliant. Lots of great footage, well edited, good hype. And they also point out that shooting your bow while also manually riding epona on the Gamecube 'would not be possible'.
