I almost bought the game yesterday (mentioned it on the other topic) because I thought that the 40% discount would place the game in a good content/money value for me, but then I saw this and changed my mind.
What the fuck is this? Why would you do that? There's literally no reason for removing content.
Oh well, never even booted up those modes.
Games get too caught up in having every mode in exsistance and it dilutes quality.
Levelcapgaming made a good video on it and BF4 a while back.
There is a point. The community is really small.
You really think they wanted to take out modes? They were forced to by the small community.
Or they can just leave it as is.
What is this fuckery? That is some bullshit on principle alone, straight up.
On Xbox One, it seems last titan standing seems to be the least played mode. I don't think I've started a game with a full 12 players all week and often finish games with only 4 or 5 players on each team.
For what?
I could never find a single game.
What's the point of keeping it?

Should have had a server browser.
Put the game on Steam, add Steam Achievements, Steamworks functionality (ala CS:GO) and drop the price and you wouldn't have this problem.
Putting it on Origin only is a death sentence.

Not understanding why everyone thinks this is horrible. If no one was playing the game modes and no games were being able to be started because of this, why keep it around?
I tried pilot hunter or whatever it's called when the game first came out, after about 6 minutes of waiting I gave up. I imagine it was even worse now 3 months after the game came out.
Thanks for your understanding as we try to make Titanfall a better experience for everyone.
They sell Titanfall on just about every DD except Steam, so they're getting less money anyways.Yeah but then EA gets less money per sale. Cut off your nose to spite your face. Typical EA.

I remember the era of constantly adding and making features better.
Have you seen it?
I don't even understand this. How is this a better experience for everyone? The players that play Attrition/Hardpoint are unaffected so that leaves the people that liked Pilot Hunter and CTF, and I don't understand how taking away their favorite game mode helps their experience.
Microsoft's servers? What the hell are you talking about? Why?
The servers, if their explanation is correct, are spun up as needed. That was the whole point of using Microsoft's servers.
There's no cost to keeping the modes there. If people want to wait, fine. The match will be made for CTF and one of Microsoft's servers will be activated.
This would make a modicum of sense (ignoring for now that the setup isn't ideal in the first place, since the whole situation is avoided in the first place by having a flexible server setup which is what most other PC games out there have) if there were actual resources being wasted by keeping CTF servers up.
People still play tiranfall?
Taking modes out of a game 2 months after release and not replacing it with anything is ok with you? What if someone bought the game to play CTF? The game now has less content than when it released lol

Do you not understand that they were put together in a single playlist to make finding games easier?
