Yeah, Puoli-elämä would be the literal translation, but puoliintumisaika is the Finnish equivalent of the physics term. Considering what happens in the game, I think you'll agree that puoliintumisaika is the preferable translation here.

"Jungla de Cristal"

Die Hard

This was is as fun as the Star Wars in Spain one, because it has the same problem as Resident Evil translation in english. The movie was called officialy in Spain "Jungla de Cristal" that would translate to "Glass Jungle", as Die Hard sounds horribly translated into spanish (Muere Duro), and leaving it without translation wouldnt have work in this case. So they took that the skyscraper was made from glass, with the scene of walking through the glass bare feet, and compared it to a jungle made of glass, hence the title. What they didnt know is that the movie would spawn 3 more sequels that nothing had to do with a glass skyscraper, however the spanish movie titles remained the same (Jungla de Cristal 2 and Jungla de Cristal 3) except for the fourth that was simply called "La Jungla 4.0" (The Jungle 4.0). You could say that now Jungle refers to whole city.

Similar situation was in Poland. Because it was hard to translate the title literally while keeping it sound cool, they called the first movie "Szklana Pułapka" ("The Glass Trap"), because the skyscrapper, which was made from glass, was a trap for John McClane. Of course, the name doesn't suite the sequels, but the name remained anyway, even for the fourth movie.
