Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Remastered Trailer

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
Nope, I just checked because I was hoping for a remaster of that as well.

A Night Dive dev has said that a PC port of 3 isn't off the table (I've posted a link to his post before but my GAF and Google-Fu are failing me), however it'll probably depend on whether or not the source code still exists/the game can be sufficiently reverse-engineered. The only other option, aside from a full-blown remake, would be to release an emulated version and I doubt Night Dive would bother with that.

I really really hope this leads to 3. I liked Rage Wars also but 3 was a poor running late gen game-it'd be nice to play it all the way through.

Also hoping this means power slave and the others will be available before too long :)

Ah yes, so about Powerslave, that is currently dead in the water as the current rights holder has yet to sign off on the idea.

To answer the question Nightdive has access a select few Acclaim titles with the next remastering project being Forsaken. The lion share of Accliam games are owned by an outfit called Throwback Games whom have actually started putting old Acclaim games like Gladitor: Sword of Vengence and Trickstyle onto Steam and they are currently remaking a "beloved" N64 Acclaim title.

Extreme-G?

Honestly I would like if they would put a bit more love into these remasters, N64 era games really look like shit nowadays. I would appreciate if they would go more in a full remake direction.

Odds on favorite actually.

You guys may be interested to know that they confirmed they're using the N64 soundtrack:

Q: if Turok 2 was going to have the music from the original N64 version or the music of the PC version of the game?
A: We're using the music from N64

On the other hand, it sounds like they went with the PC version of "The Death Marshes" for this trailer:

N64 Version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRlyWSlyj7M&t=170s

PC Version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nERVkauopUk&t=140s

Trailer Music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUOrDli_HXs&t=60s

Looks like Nightdive Studios just clarified, in the comments section of the official trailer:

Nightdive Studios: There is an option to switch between the N64 and the PC OST :)

Enjoying the online matches never had this experience except a few trys with a couple of mates on the original. Really digging it especially with the steam controller (I love games that use the controller buttons but allow for mouse aim) but I'm having some really weird texture problems with explosions having like checkermark effect. Other people are reporting a texture problem but it's very different (all textures go aqua) but the devs have responded on how to fix it.

Gonna update my drivers then if that doesn't help take a few screenshots and see if they can help.

Aw yea driver update did the trick. I wasn't even far out, like nvidia drivers .66 to .76 or something but that's fixed it. Loving it so far just playing online.

I know I've asked before, but has their been any word about the Xbox One versions of these games releasing? I know they said they were planned to release at some point.
