So why are they crying like a bitch every year over the piracy on PC?Based on the amount of effort they put in to their ports, it appears like Ubisoft don't give two shits about PC sales anyway.

I see you in one thread or another arguing about how horrible it is, but I have to ask, why?

Guess what I played Mass Effect on both consoles and PC (with superior graphics and framerate) and the console gameplay shits on PC gameplay simply because of the user interface. Same deal with Skyrim, I found the broken PS3 version of Skyrim much more enjoyable than the 1080p PC version, because I did not have to suffer through a keyboard/mouse to play it.

I was able to play and beat Skyrim just fine on my PC with a 360 controller. I agree a bit with Mass Effect but Keyboard/Mouse wasn't so badSick of "PC is better! PC is better" narrative which completely downplays the inconveniences of PC.

I agree with your ME3 sentiment, Bioware are pathetic developers who flat out lie about their intentions on the PC.
To your Skyrim argument, bahahahahahaha. Plug in a freaking controller. WTF.

How do you enter your character's name on PC when you start the game?
Also, where is your response to post 150?
just going to put it out there, not a pc fanboy or anything, just a causual pc player...
xbox or xbox emulated controllers change the entire interface of 99% of controller supported games to their console counter part interface. All the games you listed did anyway (not sure about ME1 had enough of that on 360)

ubisoft and bethesda are pathetic companies. Games cost 60 dollars I think we can expect a minimum standard of quality. Really get sick of developers like this.
Like plugging in a controller. Using a keyboard and mouse. Using a joystick. Using a racing wheel.
Yea man, those inconveniences to use whatever input device the situation might require...
Just like anything under 1080p/60 is unacceptable for PC gamers, any function of a system that can't be done with a controller is unacceptable to me. I never want to resort to KB/mouse while trying to power on a PC, launch a game, enter my name, play a game. NEVER. That's why I like consoles.

Bethesda games crash on all platforms. You're back to KB/M when it crashes on PC, not on console. Experienced it both on PC and console. So the game becoming completely unplayable due to memory leak induced frame rate loss after 20 hours is worth it because at least you didn't have to use the keyboard one time to enter your name at the beginning of the game.
Amazing.
That is correct. I similarly don't play fighting games either, but that's not due to controls. Don't miss either genre.this is hilarious. By this logic alone entire genres of games are beyond your spectrum of gaming, RTS games for example, a genre crippled by anything but mouse and keyboard controls.

Optimize != add extra eye candy. They are two different things.
Your assertion: Ubisoft wants gamers to upgrade for $500 cards and that's why they don't optimize.
My assertion: Ubisoft don't care about PC ports, including those buying $500 cards, otherwise they would have actually catered to those with $500 GPU's with unique features/effects other than just being able to run their game.
