What is it about these really good wrestlers not having any real KO power? From Sonnen, to Fitch, Shields, and even GSP, it seems they can never KO people even when they have them on the ground, or even stop the fight with strikes 90% of the time.

Poor Penn.

He shouldn't have taken this fight.

It's a no-lose fight for him though...if he loses he lost to someone who outweighed him by 80 lbs. If he wins he's the best p4p fighter in the world again.

With regards to the ground game, guys like the ones you listed are much more concerned about control. Going for a knockout means more separation and using muscles to strike that you would otherwise be using to control. This leads to more opportunity for the man on the bottom to escape or improve position.

Alot of those guys cant even get submissions either, just an overall lack of being able to finish.

I haven't see too many Penn fights, but that was some nice entrance music.
I really liked it, already bookmarked it on YT.

These guys escorting BJ to the ring aren't fucking around.

There are some monstrous cunts here. Im bout 240-50 or something and theres bouncers around with arms wider than my body. Maori's and islanders, crazy.
