It's a much, much more interesting fight than Conor vs Diaz 2. No one wanted that rematch, This one on the other hand will pretty much solidify who the greatest Light Heavyweight of all time is.

lol like that's in question? It's Bones and it's not even close.

He pulled out of the match he asked for, because he was afraid he would lose in the match he asked for?

he asked for the match and had second thoughts so instead of admitting that he didn't want to do it he just refused to show up for UFC 200 promotions. he forced Dana to take him off the card.

If he was on another level, why didn't he finish St Preux last weekend, or really get much of anything going? Why didn't he do any significant damage or threaten Cormier with any dangerous subs in their first fight? Jones has turned into a decision machine as he faces better competition. The takeaway from that is, while he is dominant, Jones isn't on another level.

I'm more excited to see Tate defend her title than anything else on that card.

Dude just had a year and a half off.

One, while it's a more interesting fight as far as relevance in the division, at least the Conor/Nate brawl was fun to watch. Two, even if Cormier beats Jones, he would need to get some defenses under his belt to solidify him as GOAT LHW. Jones has pretty much beaten all comers from two generations of the division. Cormier has only a couple of fights at that weight.

Second thoughts? Conor wanted to fight Nate more than anything, it wasn't second thoughts. It was contractual obligations.

The first fight was not close. At all. By any metric. Bones dominated. Cormier is not in Bones' league.

No he didn't, he clearly won, but it wasn't a domination. He was up 3-4 rounds, he clearly won, but it wasn't a domination. DC looked way better in his last two fights than Jon looked in his last one too.

But hey you chose Conor to beat Nate the first time, right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Winning a championship fight by 4-5 rounds isn't domination? Okay guy.

The press conference is in New York, of course DC is getting booed. lol

Yeah, it's called competitive rounds. Jon vs Shogun is a domination.

Jon/Shogun was nearly a sanctioned murder. You don't have to finish someone to dominate them. Bones won every minute of the fight against Cormier, was never in any kind of danger, and even beat Cormier at his on game, just for the fuck of it, by taking DC down at the end of the fight. If that's not in your definition of "Domination" then cool, but it certainly fits mine.

I love watching them jaw at each other because there's nothing fake about it. It sells itself.

UFC production looking amateur as fuck right now.

Jones is always fake. That's what makes him great.

DC however, he legit hates Jones. Love it.

4-5 close rounds where nearly nothing happened, lots of stalling in the clinch, and a few pointless takedowns? Shit, if Cormier had taken Jones down in two more rounds, instead of just one, he might have won on that alone.

It was a clear win for Jones but the domination narrative doesn't hold water.

Cormier might take this one if he makes a handful of improvements or doesn't gas. Or maybe Jones does dominate, if he's off the drugs. More likely Jones wins another boring decision. Which is why this main event isn't compelling. All the animosity before the first one meant fuck-all.

Yeah, Jones needles him so easily, that's why it works.

And Darren Rovell is definitely a fucking hack. ESPN needs to get rid of him.

Man, I just dread seeing Edgar on cards. Great fighter but ugh. Mcgregor is avoiding him like the plague and for good reason. Frankie isn't going to talk that fight into existence.

Nunes talking that smack. She gonna get choked out

Not a fight I want to see. The OSP fight was far more competitive(jones still beasted). Wont even be interesting with DC.
