Using VPN to access NFL Gamepass in North America (alternative to DTV's $300 stream)

I'm just gonna post it, fuck it.

Windows 7:

1. click start button and type VPN, then press enter. You should get this screen (nothing will be in the Internet Address field though)

-In the Internet Address field type: nlfreevpn.com
-click Next

2. The next screen will look like this (without the username/pw filled in)

-You need a username/pw to connect to a NL server. You can get it here: http://www.nlfreevpn.com/

-Make sure you have AdBlock turned off on the page, so you can see the password. It seems to change daily; for instance today it's 7067

-Enter the username (free) and password into the VPN screen
-Press Conect

Next screen should look like this, as it begins to connect

3. If everything works the connection will be successful

4. Now your VPN is set to the NL, it's time to go to the NFL Game Pass website. Open your Chrome browser and head to https://gamepass.nfl.com/nflgp/secure/schedule

-click on the game you want. For those testing tonight, select the Broncos Ravens game. The game should pop up
-the quality will be atrocious. In order to fix this, go to Control Panel>Network And Internet. Disconnect the VPN.
-Or just do this

-It'll take a few minutes for the quality to recover, don't worry. I watched the SNF game live and the stream looked as good as NBC's online stream.

I was able to set up the VPN as described above, but when I click on a link for the Den-Bal game, the screen pop up never appears, and it just reloads the page. :(

Using W8.1, btw.

Worked perfectly the first time, tried it again a few hours later with a new password and it gets stuck at the game loading and I tried clearing everything with popup disabled..still nothing. It loads the game and the gamepass screen but the game itself just continues to load with no stream.

Edit..Now it worked again. I was trying to watch NFL network and that was a problem but I switched to watch a preseason game and that went down fine..

I've been using a more elegant solution but it is a paid VPN. Ever hear of Unblockus? It's great for those of us outside the US to watch, say, Netflix. Especially for someone like me who's a US guy living in Europe.

Well, they have a new service called NetProtect. It's still in beta and only available to current Unblockus customers, AFAIK. You can select specific sites and specific countries. So for me, I'm able to change NFL to NL. It's fantastic. It is paid, though, but a measly $5/mo. Well, Unblock is $5/mo. I don't know what NetProtect will cost.

I can't get it to work in Chrome at all with the hola VPN extension. Tried a normal window and get payment screen, tried incognito and get the regular US screen both connected to Netherlands VPN....

Any other tips? I'm on Mac.

I'm getting error 800 or something where it says connection can't be established... any ideas gaf?

FYI it is working like normal for me. I am using a paid VPN. The VPN I use doesn't have manual setup, it has its own app. It lists all of the VPN servers and you just connect. Very simple.

Do I have to make a new VPN connection everytime or can I continue to use the same?

Used that above method earlier, worked well watching the Ravens Broncos game.

Closed out, came back connected the VPN connection i made earlier and now it is not working even for that Ravens Broncos.

Not a Jellyfish: you'll probably need to change the password, as it changes daily. The username seems to always be the same (free). So just edit the vpn with a new password and you'll be set

Which process are you using? If you're using the one at top of page: I got those errors when I put in the wrong password. Also make sure you aren't putting "www" or "http" in the Internet Address box when connecting to a vpn.

Clearing cookies may help.

anyone know how long it takes for games to show up on game rewind? Like is it a couple hours after the game is over (in which case it would work for me) or a couple days?

Going ahead and clearning cookies now, password was correct but now am getting the 800 errors as well.

Edit: Still same problem getting that 800 error. Booooo.

I got everything working.

The window just doesn't pop up. I disabled add blocker too.

It seems to be more effective than Hola Unblocker though.

The fucking Sunday Ticket site is dead. Of course these idiots don't have the server capacity for all of those Madden codes they sold recently. What a joke.

I cant connect to nlfreevpn.com today. I set the user name to free and the password to 1233 but it keeps timing out. Any ideas?
