What are the recommended nodes for Neo/Axi relic farming?

To add to the above, Stofler on Lua, Kala-a-zar on Eris and Hydron on Sedna are all good defense nodes that reward Neo for the first 10 waves and Axi for the second 10. Seems to be a pretty good chance of getting 4 relics in 20 waves.

They need to streamline some the content in order to balance player time. For example, I think a lot of normal working people aren't going to have the time to log in each day and do 9 syndicate quests and the sortie. And if you only have the time for a few hours a day you're not going to get much else done if you want to do the dailies. And you know what, make it so I can do lower level syndicate quests because sometimes I would like to level some unranked things or just fly through the quest. My recommendation would be:

- Triple rewards from syndicate quests/medallions.
- Limit it so you can only do 1/day for each syndicate you are part of.
- Offer 3 choices, but make them different tiers (level ranges).
- Adjust tier rewards accordingly (lower tier = fewer affinity)

This way if I feel like ranking some unranked things I can choose the lower tier while also getting a decent amount of syndicate standings. And also it better respects my time as I can do 3 syndicate quests a day and then spend the remaining of my time grinding the millions of things there are to grind.

I'm just tired of having to make the choice "do I grind X Y OR Z today" when it could be "I can grind X Y AND Z today".

Get used to it. It's only going to get worse. Grind is tolerable at first when you're just going through the star chart or starting to get prime stuff/good mods. Once you get to the point where you only need a few certain things the farm/grind ramps up big time.

I definitely agree they could streamline things and reduce the grind/rng but we're coming at this as ppl expecting a typical $60 game experience not a f2p skinnerbox designed to push you till you breakdown and pay to avoid the tedium. DE doesn't care about the avg joe just the whales and the whiny forum whores who are obsessed with controlling the market or nerfing everything cuz the play this 8 hrs a day and have 8 forma on all their shit then wonder why everything is too easy.

I've played this game far too much these past of couple of days.

The game is repetitive and grindy as fuck, but there's absolutely nothing else like it in the industry right now.

The gameplay keeps making me comeback and it helps that it runs amazing on PC. Absolutely buttery smooth.

I love the addition of endless relic runs. I like how the entire prime part structure works now. Doing those endless missions in the void and having to wait 20 minutes minimum for a rotation C drop only to get a forma was far too cruel.

What gets up my goat a bit with the endless relic system is people who play 1 relic and leave, or choose to go on but have no relics. I mean, why even select an endless mission type if you're only planning on only playing one? Aside from that though, it I find it better then the old system, and (generally) a lot more friendly towards pugging.

On an unrelated note, finally got around to doing a sortie today. Aside from getting knocked around in the first survival a bit, it all went pretty smooth and we got it done.

I don't even know what endless relic means so I very well could be one those people who used one then left because I needed ducat and don't have many relics to use.

Oh, in that case I definitely do 1 of those then ditch quite often. I just pick whatever the lowest level is unless it's spy/rescue because I hate those.

Edit: Or excavations. I hate those too. They're like mobile defense but even less fun.

Don't blame me! I only have as many relics as the game gives me, and I am forced to use them all every 2 weeks due to the time constraint of Baro visits. If the game valued player's time and offered Baro's good all the time I would stock up until I had a huge supply to blow at once.

See that's the thing. I've got, and not had for a long time, a shortage of relics, and keys before that. Given, I pretty much only play defense with some excavation, interception and survival on the side, but all those modes offer plenty of relics (except ones in a dark sector. That's more for credits, resources and leveling). I really only play the other modes when something calls for it like a quest or alert etc

I have played a shitload lately though, with some extra free time being between jobs, but even when I'm playing some after work and on weekends, I've never really felt constrained with them. Heck, the way the system is now you can play four relics in an endless mission and get four back with a little luck

edit
and your partially forgiven, cos Grim Dawn ;)

90% of my time playing is spent just grinding survivals or defenses because I don't know what else I can do solo and there's always some new piece of gear to level so it's an easy choice. I almost exclusively grind dark sectors because they have the XP bonus and are a source of credits. I only ever seem to have 10~ relics to turn into (hopefully) prime parts so I can throw them at Baro every other week. I haven't really done research into where to get relics and I didn't even know about the endless fissure mission until it was mentioned here.

I really should try to do sorties and things, but the few times I've tried were not successful. So I think why risk that when I can at least guarantee some progress grinding gear ranks.

Relic farming? See here

Always do Axi Interception fissures when they come up. Otherwise, Heiracon Pluto or Xini Eris.

If you're gonna farm relics, I'd suggest waiting for Banshee Prime.

and here

Neo are tier 3 and Axi tier 4. You need a pretty decent team, but if you can do 20 excavators on Pluto, you should come away with 6-10 of those. As for tier 2 Meso, good defense nodes are Io on Jupiter or Helene on Saturn. They reward Meso for the first 10 waves and Neo for the next 10 and so on. Tier 1 Lith? There's plenty around but I never had to really farm for any due to a combination of abundance of carryover from the old system and not running a lot of low level stuff these days.

Any other efficient ways to get them other then defense I'm not terribly familiar with, but I'm sure you could do the same with, say survival if that's your thing

So I did about an hour solo at Io to grind my forma'd Ember Prime back to 30. Ended with 12 relics. Then a void fissure spawned on it and I spent the next hour PUGing and ended with 15 prime parts and still 12 relics.

... Feel so dumb I didn't look this up or ask earlier.

Banshee's in.

Two rares, an uncommon and a common like Val. Her build costs look pretty reasonable as well.

I don't think I did more than 2 relics for any of the new parts, and farming the relics wasn't bad at all. Where we got our relics:

Xini Eris for Neo (rotation A) and Axi (rotation B and C)
Io Jupiter for Meso (rotation A)
Odin Mercury for Lith (rotation A)

I'm significantly more excited for Helios and the new gun than I am Banshee.

Sucks I can't really grind until the weekend, I did do a quick 4 round xini last night and got a helios relic so that was good.

Yeah, not going to happen. The whole point of the thing is to drag out play times. They've nerfed stealth focus gains while screwing over normal focus farming with convergence. They applied absolutely no solution for support frames to get focus versus nuke frames. Since I work 6 days a week now, the amount of sorties that get done by me are about close to zero because of the endless mission types that give no rewards at the set intervals. The only break we really got was having gear levels match mastery rank level. Yet, it still makes no sense from any other standpoint other than a economic one to have 24 hour build times for forma while having the limit of only building one at a time when a player can easily get a dozen in an hour just running rifts.

I see people mentioning Ignis Wraith. Is it PC only right now?

For now yeah. Should hit consoles in the coming weeks

As it should. What a joke of an event. Grind a slow ass fucking escort mission with squishy braindead ai, and you only get a bp. The first mission only gives 1 point and you need 75 just for the beginner tier. And now only the top 10% of clans get it in the dojo. Another excuse to charge ppl plat to join.

They really seem to want to push how much the can get away with and force out all their dissenters. Guess the circle jerk that is their forums isn't tugging hard enough for em anymore.

So it seems as long as I grind the many escorts I can at least get the blueprint for myself? But those who would join at a later time would be unable to build unless they join a top 10% clan? That sounds awful for those unable to login for the grind. But I think an at least get it for myself to build.

Edit: the official forums are blocked at work where I do most my posting. So that's why I ask a lot of simple questions. That and I really don't care for the official forum posters. They seem too willing to accept anything and get too defensive.

Sort of. Just gotta complete the grind, and you and anyone else in the clan at the time will receive the actual weapon, with slot and catalyst.

Top 10 clans get the blueprint for anyone in the clan to use whenever.

New preview of WIP Earth tileset remaster

Looking forward to this remaster as it also comes with some performance improvements.

More QoL changes coming. Turns out [DE] said 2016 was the "year of quality", but waited till 2017 to get started on it.

Can cancel accidental builds in the foundry without having to call support to do it

New features are fun sometimes and all, but fixing and improving the little issues benefit the game and make it far better in the long run. Like the improved waypoint system and the ability to see how many blueprints you have left in the foundry without being made to go into another menu altogether to know this.

That's a pretty diplomatic way of describing some of those posters. The type of posters you're describing tend to come from the "don't mess with what I find fun or DE can do no wrong" camp instead of "Here's my argument of why I disagree with your view on this matter" camp. If it were the latter then it would result in more civil discussions and disagreements rather than trying to shout you down and going straight for attacks on your character. I still remember how some of them lost their damn minds when people argued against coptering.

Saw the requirements to complete the whole Operation, holy shit that farm would make Frizby blush

So it appears they might have taken some of the 'feedback' on board.

https://forums.warframe.com/topic/768886-faq-coming-changes-for-operation-the-pacifism-defect/

Before: Ghost Clans must earn: 1,300 Points.
After: Ghost Clans must earn: 260 Points.
An example to elucidate what this means for the scoring: This means you could have 1 person to get 260 points. That is 1 Solo mission with 65 Defectors Rescued as each Defector is worth 4 points.

Before: Shadow Clans must earn: 3,800 Points.
After: Shadow Clans must earn: 760 Points.
Before: Storm Clans must earn: 12,600 Points.
After: Storm Clans must earn: 2,520 Points.
Before: Mountain Clans must earn: 37,800 Points.
After: Mountain Clans must earn: 7,560 Points.
Before:Moon Clans must Earn: 126,000 Points.
After: Moon Clans must Earn: 25,200 Points.

Earth Remastered tileset looks hawt. It's probably the ugliest tileset in the game right now, nice to see they are updating it.

True story.

We need to make an effort to be in the top 10%. We've done it before, and the clan is plenty active right now. My thought is that any clan that doesn't get that research is going to fizzle away.

So, I guess I'll be asking you guys for an invite soon... Just need to make my peace with the end of my dinky little ghost clan. Had some good times with a bunch of people from the Giant Bomb forums, but they're long since gone, and with the direction the game is headed it's clearly time to let go.

From what I've seen online currently, the AI is very stupid in these missions, so this should be "interesting" to say the least. But, what the hell, I guess it can be time to come back and grind away like we all used to love doing for those oh so precious prime parts in the void. Bring out your best crowd control frames, Trinities (you know they will be all over in this mission), and whatever else is all powerful and let's do this!

Oberon I chose you!

Does anyone know of a good walkthrough for the orokin spy mission that isn't some douche cheesing it with Loki or doing it like it's their thousandth time while bragging about how easy it is? I am struggling to complete this mission.

This game could seriously use a practice mode for this crap. I hate having to restart and run back to it just to attempt it again. Such a waste of time.

I'm having the most horrible luck with these prime parts, it wasn't near this bad with vauban or valkyr. I can't get the relics I need and when I finally do no parts, I've been grinding hard for almost a week now, I'd expect to have at least one completed. I'm missing all euphonia parts, 1 helios part and 3 banshee parts.

The Lua/moon ones? I don't know if you'd count it as "cheesing" but I just use Limbo, since in the rift he can walk though all the security beams without setting off the alarms. Lets you explore and poke at the various traps with minimal risk. There just one of the vaults that has security drones you have to watch out for.

I don't have a problem with Cheesing. I just don't have Loki so I was hoping to find a method that all Frames could accomplish. I do have Limbo though so I'll give him a shot.

As an aside, I was doing some arena point farming this evening and after one of them the loading screen flashed and went all distorted, then red tenno font began to type across it as if it were being faux-hacked. What's that all about? Nothing seemed to happen after.

I do the same thing, but with Ivara with the Infiltrate augment. Saves me tons of headaches.

It started doing that a few months before the quests that made transferrence a thing. I think it was sort of a tease for that.
