Where are the promised PS1/PS2 retro graphic style games?

Is this game any good? Will have to check this out if I see it at any antique/retro shops i frequent.
As for graphics, this looks a tad better than ps1/ps2. The lines aren't warped, so not ps1, and the textures are readable and with a bit more detail than you would see in ps2 games. I'd rate it xboxOG/Gamecube+ level.

As for graphics in that style, there have been a few on pc and switch, but not enough. I love it to.

Here is something from my wish list:

Open world Horror RPG:

I would also say triangle strategy and octopath are going for a more modern ps1 aesthetic as well.

There are a bunch, but could always use more.

Why do people want to go back to this eye-gouging look? I can understand pixel art, because when done well it's great. But low-poly warping textures? WHY??? That's why the DC, PS2, and GameCube were so great. They buried this aesthetic in the grave it deserved.

I think that look gives games an interesting vibe or mood, especially the horror games. Imo modern graphics struggle to replicate that atmosphere.

Playing Cursed Montain at Wii and this type of graphic is very cool for terror and mystery games. I like it much more than the standard assets collections most games use.

Every puppetcombo game developed and published are ps1 graphics, but there all horror games

Tormented Souls is a throw back to PS2 style horror games.

It's also seriously fucking good. It's not just a "cover band", it has some great unique ideas and the puzzles are real ball breakers like I like.

Unrelated but I highly recommend this game:

It heavily reminds me of some weird Nordic, ultra-atmospheric mix of Kings Field, Metroid-y exploration and maybe the first Dark Souls in spirit. Combat is legit challenging in terms of having to learn certain things and enemies always feel like a real threat.

That look was the result of real limitations, making games look like that by intention doesn't work for me. You know it's fake and since it is being done in indie games only, the rest of the game feels very cheap and unpolished. It's nice to see for a very short amount of time, but that's just not it...

I just tried Dino Trauma - yes, it looks cool, but that movement, animation, jump mechanic, shooting...my god.
