It makes sense for them to keep the Wii name, given the fact that Wii U will support Wii Remotes. To be honest, I think that Wii Entertainment System is even worse than Wii U as a console name, though.

That's an even worse name than the Wii U. The Wii already was the Wii Entertainment System. It just wasn't called that. I had someone call into my store asking for "the wii game" and I figured they meant wii fit plus or whatever. When they got in, they were actually asking for the console.
