Really? Don't recall normal games requiring special drivers for gsync to function.
Is it confirmed that "special" drivers are needed? I didn't see that anywhere.

I'll start with the free games first like Forza Apex,Fable Legends and such. I'll definitely hold on for my purchase though. If the reviews for the true MS exclusive games/app (not RotTR) are great then I'll make my first purchase. I haven't been following Gears reviews, but despite the AMD deivers issues I think the port is fine. I'll make my final judgement tomorrow after reading some reviews.

Okay, so it looks like you CAN buy from different regions on the Windows 10 store. But you need to buy the Xbox Live Points from that region and then apply it to your account. So you'd need someone in a region x to buy and sell you the points. Apply those points to your account and then use that.

You can uninstall it if you really want to.
Start -> Powershell -> Run as Administrator -> Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage
The Windows Store and every other Metro app will disappear. Forever. Once it's gone, you can't get it back, so you'd better be committed.

Gsync works 100% on Rise of the Tomb Raider and UAs despite a lot of people saying otherwise. The only issue is that since you can't disable vsync, the frame gets buffered more than it needs to be, increasing the input lag a shade (if you can't tell the difference in input lag between Vsync on and off, then it isn't something to worry about).
I've done blind tests to confirm. Also the Gsync visual indicator confirms. It works 100%. You just can't disable vsync so you get a bit more input lag than you'd get if you could, but that's really a separate issue already covered by 'you can't turn off Vsync'.

I have not seen a single person confirm that G-Sync does not work on the Windows Store, so I really don't understand why people keep listing it as a limitation.

Impatient? The floors have been there the entire time, they knew what they were doing and they have a proven track record of fucking up, blaming other things and leaving again. Windows Store isn't going to show good numbers with franchises like Gears and Forza. Bring Halo in the actual FPS not the RTS and then you will see people adopting a lot quicker, I have 3 friends on Windows 8.1(One on 7) who would upgrade to 10 in a heart beat if Halo was there, and I'm sure many others would also.

If this means I can eventually get all the Xbox games I want on PC instead of having to buy a One, I'm stoked. If certain exclusives (like Halo) stay on Xbox only, then fuck this.
Microsoft has had 10 years to get this right with GFWL. They don't deserve any patience.

It doesn't require an special driver. It requires an profile update for an specific game, like it does on every once in a while even for win32 games. AFAIK it didn't require a driver update on Tomb Raider.

DX12 games can support multiple GPUs natively. No need for them to be the same model or manufacturer.
So you can put an AMD card and an NVidia card in a box and, if the game supports multiple GPUs, you'll see a noticeable performance boost.

I don't remember GFWL restricting so many features and GFWL actually worked. Gears will refuse to download on the store. Leave it to Microsoft to screw up even the most basic stuff.

That issue is being addressed. The game is actually being downloaded, the progress meter just isn't moving for everyone. It's a known issue.

I haven't been able to download anything from this shitbox of a store for over a month. Everytime I try I get a selection of error codes, todays is 0x80072EFD. Everytime it says I either have a problem with my connection (every other functioning program and Firefox says otherwise) or there's a problem with MS' connection.
Checked a myriad of solutions online and no luck, also had a MS rep try to fix it, they failed. Then suggested I pay for extended cover if I wanted them to help any further. I just want the fucking store to work, how should that require specialist assistance?!
Has anyone else had these error codes, any succes in solving the issue?
And of course: ubiquitous fuck you to Microsoft.

Some people have a hard time looking forward. Its not their fault.
I'm excited for this because my favorite feature will be intact. Better looking games.
