This post reminds me that I don't often associate movies with what studios they came from, unless they're also part of a mega franchise 'universe.'

Like, I'm sure there have been years when I thought [insert studio here] put out more than two movies I enjoyed, but I don't think of studios as conglomerates with strict QC processes, again unless the aforementioned 'cinematic universes' are in play.

That's kind of depressing. Time to buy more tickets from my local arthouse.

Sony Pictures has dubiously risen into the limelight solely due to how awful a lot of their movies have been in recent times. I think the increased popularity of comic book movies (plus Disney acquiring Lucasfilm) has also helped fester this "us vs them" mentality of geek culture among some movie-watchers.

I remember the first film better than the second and I barely remember the first. Mark Strong with hair, RDJ in a disguise with a fake nose, a fight with a big French guy, a drugged dog and RDJ jumping out a window.

I was impressed by RDJ's accent.

Edit: Oh yeah, Sherlock knowing Wing Chun because RDJ does it in real life and why not just use it.

I liked '09 but wanted my 2.99 back after Game of Shadows. Between that and Sherlock Season 4...I'm good.

I think I have a pretty good memory when it comes to films. Like, I think I can recount the plot of pretty much every single superhero movie I have seen since the release of Raimi's Spider-Man, even those that I have seen only once (like Apocalypse or Suicide Squad).
