Hope that word of mouth helps it out. Otherwise it's destined for Out of Sight/The Limey level success - post-release everyone loves it, but nobody got to see it in theaters, either.
I had literally never heard of it until a couple of days ago. Went and saw it last night to make some use out of my Movie Pass. It was pretty damn good. But, I assume I'm probably not alone in not knowing it exists. So, that's not good.
It is now more than $52 million above The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and $112 million above The Amazing Spider-Man 2 final LTD. It should easily pass $320 million at this rate.
I mean, everything that's getting filmed Zack was already overseeing and writing with Whedon. Zack would've been the one filming if it wasn't for the tragedy. It's not like Whedon's doing anything that Zack hadn't approved and would be a very noticeable shift in style.
