Both of them really. But Metal Slug 3 is one of the best and most exciting entries in the series, if not the best, so i will go with that one.

Killer is Dead is 30 fps only on console and it can be modded to 60 on PC, if you care about this sort of thing. Case West is underwhelming if you expect anything like 1 / Case Zero / 2, since it is much closer to 3 and 4 with a dull environment to boot. Battle Coliseum is a Dotemu port is memory serves, so below average emulation and bad netcode in other words.

You probably won't see RDR for much cheaper for a while, even during Rockstar sales it's usually only 30% marked down. It's worth owning the digital version of it just to have it available. You might not play it but it's such a great game and still holds up really well graphically.

iirc there are one or two puzzles that are annoying in the Monkey Island games but you can work most of them out without too much trial and error fuckery.

Get all of them. Monkey Island games are great, similar but better than Broken Age (IMO), and some of the best games of the gender. They also have a good hint system in case you get stuck, so you shouldn't have any problems playing them.

Beyond Good and Evil is a cult classic as well. Can't go wrong with it (it also has one of the best female lead characters ever).

They are making interest on your 100 bucks and haven't had to give you anything for it. This is actually preferable for them.

Well, Halo Wars and Spartan Assault compatible are as well, actually. But HCEA, H3, and ODST are all low priority due to MCC. They're still coming though.

On the Monkey Island games... I'm not sure if the first game's Special Edition has the commentary and for that reason if I had to choose on the spot I'd get the second game first. The commentary is great for a second playthrough, especially since Tim Scafer's such a funny, likable guy.

Yeah, I remember really loving that game too. Damn, we need to get off our asses as a species and invent neuralyzers so that we can play games like we never played them before.

Best thing about Beyond Good and Evil on XBox One is that you can finally invert-y if you're a filthy inverter like me by using the "ease of access" settings in the OS (or XBox Accessories if you're using an Elite controller). In game settings invert both x and y at the same time and you can't separate them.
