a lot of you are over reacting dont you think? Im not sure where all this fear of genitalia stems from but I doubt any of the people that are on my friends list will be pulling that shit on me. if they do they arent on my friends list anymore.

I totally agree with the guy that said you should worry more about what people say on Live affecting kids than what they might see. other than having to worry about pervs with fast dropping pants, I wonder how many people will buy this on impulse or because their friends have it.

I hope we can get some stats on the number of Live accounts banned after it hits stores everywhere. :lol

Man, forget the dirty pictures. This new vibe function is going to bring a whole new audience to the 360. Sony is DEFINITELY going to reconsider rumble when they see that CollegeWebCam.com money start rolling into Microsoft's pockets.

They aren't jokes. Within 48 hours some enterprising young ladies will have an ebay auction to play nude Uno with you. And I'm guessing half my friends will have naked chicks as their gamerpics.

Edit: As far as lag, I doubt video functionality will be enabled during any online gameplay portion except the portions where lag wouldn't matter. Maybe there'd be video in the lobby for Halo 3, but once the game started, it would be disabled. Lag isn't really a problem with Uno and Spades.

Custom Gamer pics are only show to your friends or people who have accepted you as friends i should say. I took a few funny pictures and got some wtf responses. Havent tried uno yet but i plan on ****ing with some people soon.

Ok, some more follow up after using the XLV (Xbox Live Vision) for a day:

You can conduct video chat with friends - you can not be in a came to do this - and the video chat can be done one way or two way. My friend could see and here me just fine. You can make minor adjustments to the video settings as well as mute/pause the video. Within Uno you can easily make out the players "poker face" to if they tend to give themselves away when playing the card game. So practice not smiling folks. All my test were conducted using my Xbox 360 with the Microsoft wireless adapter connecting to my Linksys 802.11G wireless router. Most every who saw the video was extremely impressed. I'll be online again this evening playing some more Uno as bigman606.

Also the unit is PC (WinXP SP2) and Mac OSX compatible since it uses USB 2.0 (downloadable drivers for Windows are required).

If there's anything anyone wants me to check, let me know.

Grabbed the camera myself (plus a few more for friends) and updated my gamerpicture. I also had a few video chats and so far so good. The quality of the video is pretty damn good, about what you'd expect from a webcam for the PC. The unfortunate part is that you can't do anything else while you're in video chat. No PIP or option to to browse the dashboard, also you have to quit the game entirely before you join it. The video chat also allows you to place filters (shoulder buttons) on the video for some hysterical results; for example the blur filter makes everything look like some amature porn video.

I called around to a few places here in the Bay Area, and none of the Toys R' Us stores have it in stock (or are willing to sell if they do have it in stock.) Bummer. I guess I'll wait until mid-September.

that totemball game didn't look very fun or comfortable to play.. hopefully we will see some more interesting games in the future using the gesture tech.
