Just sad.
They tried to use the same shitty SimTower comparison.
It was bad enough to hear it from people who never played these games, but from Zynga's CEO? lol. They're really grasping.

I'm glad Sim Tower has already been brought up. It doesn't make Zynga's game any less gross, but Tiny Tower is definitely clear in its influences as well.

Gamasutra enters.
PR glaring.
I do feel sorry for Zynga PR. It is a shitty position to be in.
So anyone check out dream heights? Are there any unique features?

Actual Zynga CEO quote."copy what [our competitors] do and do it until you get their numbers."
I do feel sorry for Zynga PR.
It should be noted that Spry Fox was approached by 6waves with an offer to publish the game on other platforms. They agreed, and let 6waves have access to the design docs and source for Triple Town. Fast forward a few months, 6waves cuts off communication and releases Yeti Town.
Real classy, there.
Actual Zynga CEO quote.
You feel sorry for people who chose on purpose to work as sleazy PR for a blatantly unethical company whose products are built on lies and theft? I don't, fuck those dudes.
Ugh. Cunts.
Why bother? They're going for volume and the only people who would care wouldn't buy it in the first place. They didn't even try to cover it up.
I was asked to 5-star the iOS game I worked on when it shipped. At the time I didn't own a compatible device. I assume this is common practice.
I recall having been invited to vote for a game I worked on in an awards ceremony. I believe it was argued as "Everyone does it, so if you *don't* do it, we're not being competitive".
It's so *easy* to not have any integrity if you assume that no-one else does either.
That Dream Heighs is awful.
Is like Tiny Tower but:
- You won't get bucks EVER. So you'll need to use real cash to upgrade elevators.
- You need to unlock the stocking products using hearts (that you get visiting friends once a day).
The only good thing is that people on elevator only go to residential floors. But after a few floors, I already lost any incentive to continue playing.

I wouldn't move on.
Yeah, but one cannot bitch about it forever, right?
Nimblebit added a new quest to Tiny Tower today. I admit I laughed.
Has anyone else seen this new mission Nimblebit added to Tiny Tower? It's hilarious :lol
