Alright, I heard this was supposed to be good, but i just can't stand the main characters. The overly positive and trusting tropes just annoy the hell out of me. And this dude is supposed to be a genius? I wish this series would focus more on the mystery/murder plot and less on the cheesy yaoi romance junk.

Really it was charming and captivating all the way through, the sci fi stuff with the wasps and the whole plot regarding it and No. 6's purpose is done well. It is balanced well with the high friendship values.

That was a hilariously awesome chapter, fully expected a big move to finish it but not something of atmospheric proportions. Best move in recent shounen action series since X-burner.

I guess colour page + longer page length and thank you page strongly suggests and highly implies that its the final chapter, as theres nothing left to do in plot.

Considering the other two "new" jump properties world trigger and soul catchers did only 60k and 40k yes you should be happy for SnS.

Heck the only series to best it is Gintama which is a long running successful franchise and Gintama barely beat it

Silver Spoon vol 1-10
Motherfucking Silver Spoon. I was a little unhappy the other day as you may know with the artwork at the very beginning but I got over it eventually as I always do and ended up with a very cool experience. The MC is a college(?) entrance dropout with parent problems and no aspirations who comes to find himself after being placed in a school for agriculture, and it's here we learn the highs and lows of modern farming with an insight into the processes that have to take place in order to put the food on the shelves most people take for granted. I mean who knew that eggs come out the same exit as the shit? It doesn't hold anything back in reminding us that the animals are for products. On paper it wouldn't work for me, but the author of Fullmetal Alchemist fame has the pedigree to make it enjoyable. For the most part I would slot it into the comedy & slice of life genre, there's no violence or sex, just a slight lick of possible romance and a little drama with MCs growth. It's just plain interesting, definitely a special series given the topic, dare I say I found it eye-opening and educational.

I'm glad you came around, it's one of those series which are way more interesting than the premises give them credit for. And I loved that page, for obvious reasons ;)

There's three issues out for Es to es, and I've been reading them as they came out in English. Despite it being porn, the writing is pretty humorous and beats dreck like say, KNIM easily.

If you don't have an aversion to porn, I'd say read it and enjoy.

Lain was the one that translated it ages ago and it's only recently Akito started typesetting it, doing god's (beard a shit) work.

I see, credit everywhere it's due then. I saw 2008 before as the last update and was nope, even though the art looked really nice, I'm glad it's going to be finished.

No real indepth info on the Demon Lord and the Final Bosses relationship...

Even the News Bulletin had Lols written in it


I hate rushed endings... All the plot building and character building for all characters tossed aside

I dont think he was really the type of writer, based on at least how the past arcs have progressed, that would have really given any sort of depth to that stuff and more even if there was an arc or two after this anyway.

Only 2 chapters so far. Supernatural horror(?) where parasites infect humans and turn their heads into animals and then they explode and move onto the next host.

Overall art reminds me of early Bakuman interspersed with weird deformed gag faces (similar to GTO but not on that level). One of the leads can see other surrounding areas by sticking his finger in his ear (and probably going to far and poking his brain).

Minor issue: scans are bit hard to read since some pages are smaller than others. The spreads are pretty cool though.
