only Fernando's ripe melons are good enough for me
Chelsea have confirmed they have signed Portugal midfielder Deco from Barcelona. Deco told Chelsea's website: 'I am sure I have come at the right time to do great things and be able to help Chelsea go back to the way it was and come back to being the first one, not only in England but also to win the Champions League that has been their dream for so long.' [+]

anyone see that?

As for Cesc being "shit". You're just an idiot if you believe that. I'm not having this argument with you. I hate Anderson, but I don't consdier him "shit". That's just ignorant, blanket.

Well you'd be even more deluded if you think Anderson was shit, Anderson had Fabregas in his pocket at Emirates.

c'mon man. honestly. He had a decent game against Cesc I think it's a bit stretched to say he "had him in his pocket". I remember Fabregas stripping Cristiano of the ball and dishing it to Adebayor for a goal against you guys, I wouldn't say that Fabregas had Ronaldo in his pocket because of that. Not to mention, that play ended up in a goal unlike your little clip. Furthermore, play was stopped immediately after Anderson beat Cesc.

Fabregas is a different player from Anderson.

I would take Fabregas any day. But Anderson is more "explosive".

it's just a fucking pointless and stupid argument. I feel like a fucking 12 year old defending my favorite player.

He's just messing with you.

It's normal man, we like to mess with others sometimes. Don't get upset, it's just a sort of "game", have fun with it.

Realistically i can say that Fabregas can pass the ball like it's nothing, Anderson can't. That makes Fabregas the better player for the position.

However for example, Anderson can pick the ball in the middlefield and take it up to the opposition are with 1 run, he's really strong.

Anderson has time though, he will show how great he is in time.

Are you not referring to 2006/2007 season with the Adebayor goal?

That clip wasn't from the same game.. it was from when we thrashed you 4 - 0.

Other than his goal (which was a case of him being the right place at the right time), in the 2-2 match on the 3rd of November 2007 Fabregas did little due to Anderson playing him out of the game, this when he had been in England for all but 3 months, from this match we coined the Anderson-son-son chant with the line 'and he shits on Fabregas' referring to this match.

Sorry h0pper, it just annoys me when people support players rather than clubs.

you're an idiot. I wasn't talking about the same game. You're just too fucking stupid to pick up on that.

you're an asshole and I'm not the only one who feels that way. you know nothing about supporting a club because you support the most commercialized franchise on the planet. sure, Arsenal are a big club. But, I take pride in the fact that I'm not 1 out of a billion other supporters.

I'd like to apologize to the other United supporters who are decent posters around here (ie: Psycho_snake, ryck, etc.)

Cedeo, you're a piece of shit and you know it. You applauded Eduardo's injury which is enough to put you on anyone's shit list forever. I think that you contribute nothing to this thread except shit stirring and over the past few weeks you've wasted everyone's time, including your own. Take a step back and grow the fuck up you ignorant prick.

What the fuck do you contribute other than agreeing with hadareud and others? If it wasn't for me and some others this thread would be one big pat on the back.

I've supported this club since before the Premiership was created however I wonder how long you've supported Cesc? If it wasn't for Arsenal and therefore Cesc being commercialised how would you of heard about Arsenal in America?

And about the Eduardo injury, I just found it hypocritical that many Arsenal fans hadn't lambasted Gallas for his blatant kick from behind which was lucky not to be a serious injury just a week before, yet were up in arms about an almost certain accidental, unfortunate injury committed by Taylor on Eduardo - it wasn't a jibe at Eduardo at all.

Also, I would like you to elaborate over me wasting my time.. ?

Ugh. Why would you want to go play at KC? I've been wondering: when will the MLS just move the Wizards? Christ, they play in a fucking minor-league baseball stadium. Do they even have plans for a soccer-specific stadium?
Their new management hasn't been in place too long, but they've been making a good attempt at fixing things up (the baseball stadium is a wacky idea but far better than playing at Arrowhead, they went out and got Claudio Lopez, etc...). The Wolff signing is questionable, but necessary given their lack of goals this season. From what I've heard, they're currently working on a soccer specific stadium.

Whoa 7200rpm! I thought they were needlesly excessive and will overheat the PS3.

How much was it and where? I'm trying to find a cheap 250GB somewhere atm around £60 is the cheapest i've found so far.

by serious injury you surely mean accidentally having a hair on his calf stuck in Gallas' laces and having it pulled out. It does hurt of course, but millions of other women deal with it on a regular basis, so Nani can too.

*sigh* I really shouldnt get involved in this fucking stupid arguement, but I'm bored.

Anderson better than cesc? You must be joking.

Fabregas stats for 2007/08 (from soccernet)
Assists: 23
Goals: 13

Anderson stats for 2007/08 (from soccernet)
Assists: 2
Goals: 0

Cescs stats shit all over andersons. Sure, cesc played more games than Anderson but lets be realistic; even if anderson had more playing time he still wouldnt match cesc's stats. Now Anderson is a great player. He can pass well, he's strong and he's very quick. Even arsenal fans will admit that he's a good player with plenty of potential. He's definately good enough to become an excellent midfielder and one of the best in the world, but its just stupid to say that he's better than cesc already.

Cedeo said:
Cesc is shit anyway, I don't know why everyone loves him so much, would have Iniesta or Xavi Hernades on the pitch over him anytime.

Its a good signing by Chelsea. He's going to have a hard time replacing lampard though. We all give fat frank a lot of stick, but he does have a very good goalscoring record. He's scored around 20 goals a season for the last 4 seasons, which is a very impressive stat. Then again, he is the penalty taker, but even if you dont count penalties his goal tally will still be very good. I dont think deco has 20 goals in him.

Amaury Bischoff says he is set to join Arsenal after turning down a new contract at Werder Bremen.

The French-born midfielder has had his career tracked by Gunners boss Arsene Wenger since he was a youngster with Strasbourg.

He moved to Bremen in 2005, but has made just one senior appearance for the club against Celta Vigo in the Uefa Cup in 2007.

The 21-year-old was offered a new deal to stay in the Bundesliga, but claims he was unable to turn down the chance to move to Arsenal.

Huge opportunity

"Bremen was superb, but Arsenal is a huge opportunity for me," Bischoff told Bild.

"Wenger has known me since my time at Strasbourg and believes in my quality. He trusts me to be in the first team.

"Wenger has not put me under any pressure. He said, 'Take all the time you need'."

Bremen's managing director Klaus-Dieter Fischer admits the Bundesliga club were keen for Bischoff, who has struggled with injuries in the past, to stay.

Fischer told the club's official website: "We would be happy to have Amaury, but he has decided to take up a new challenge.

"We wish him well and thank him for the past three years."

Suprisingly genuinely nice comment from Bremen.

Yeah, Lampard is gone to The Great One's club.

And is watching the transfer movements during the off-season as surreal to you guys as it is for me? The researchers on Football Manager are eerily accurate about certain players.

I always like when the infamous uber players from fm or the old cm games pops up in real life. Doesn't happen that often but Daniel Braathen was one of the best strikers in the game a few years back. That didn't turn out too well.

This one runs pretty cool and quiet. I parted it out from a Dell D820 that a user trashed. I wish it was a Seagate, but sadly its just a Hitachi.

Supposedly Chelsea is going to offer Frank an offer he can't refuse to stay, but the guy has been in Spain and Italy forever it seems like. I think we are stocking up on CMF's as all the ones we have are now 30+
